Resumo: The present work has the purpose of analyzing the importance of the use of active methodologies in the construction of knowledge of science in elementary education under the perspective of the development of competences and skills. Therefore, Science Education is very important because it addresses general scientific principles and, also, technological applications. Scientific concepts and theories do not have values in themselves, as abstract systems of thought, but as instruments that help us to understand the world in which we live in order to guide our actions at the individual and social level. The practice linked to theory makes a lot of difference for a contextualized class, where students can see the importance of the contents addressed in the teaching of science, in addition to offering them greater clarity so that they can really interpret or be part of the study in question. . It is visible today the need for experimentation during classes as a teaching tool, because the stimulus and interest of students becomes much greater, since they can visualize the content in a different way, that is, they can analyze certain issues as if they were part of it. Therefore, the experimental practice has a broader role than expected, because it develops in the students a greater interest, besides awakening skills that did not appear in the theoretical classes, for example.

Por lo tanto, la Enseñanza de las Ciencias es muy importante, ya que aborda los principios científicos generales y, también, aplicaciones tecnológicas. Los conceptos y teorías científicas no tienen valores en sí mismos, como sistemas abstractos de pensamiento, sino como instrumentos que nos ayudan a entender el mundo en el que vivimos con el fin de orientar nuestras acciones a nivel individual y social. La práctica vinculada a la teoría hace mucha diferencia para una clase contextualizada, donde los estudiantes pueden ver la importancia de los contenidos abordados en la enseñanza de las Ciencias, además de ofrecer a los mismos una mayor claridad para que puedan realmente interpretar o sea hacer parte del estudio en cuestión. Es visible hoy en día la necesidad de la experimentación durante las clases como instrumento de enseñanza, porque el estímulo y el interés de los estudiantes pasa a ser mucho mayor, ya que los mismos pueden visualizar el contenido de forma diferente, o sea, pasan a analizar ciertas cuestiones como si hicieran parte de ella. Por lo tanto, la práctica experimental tiene un papel más amplio de lo que se espera, porque desarrolla en los alumnos un mayor interés, además de despertar habilidades que no aparecía en las clases teóricas, por ejemplo.Este documento visa analisar a importância do uso de metodologias ativas na construção do conhecimento científico na educação básica, a partir da perspectiva do desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades. Portanto, a Educação Científica é muito importante, pois trata de princípios científicos gerais e, também, de aplicações tecnológicas. Os conceitos e teorias científicas não têm valores em si mesmos, como sistemas abstratos de pensamento, mas como instrumentos que nos ajudam a compreender o mundo em que vivemos, a fim de orientar nossas ações em nível individual e social. A prática ligada à teoria faz muita diferença para uma sala de aula contextualizada, onde os alunos podem ver a importância do conteúdo abordado no ensino de ciências, bem como proporcionar-lhes maior clareza para que possam realmente interpretar ou participar do estudo em questão. . A necessidade de experimentação em sala de aula como ferramenta de ensino é visível hoje em dia, pois o estímulo e o interesse dos alunos se torna muito maior, pois eles podem visualizar o conteúdo de uma maneira diferente, ou seja, eles começam a analisar certas questões como se fizessem parte dela.
