Covid-19 control strategies in Brazil: what does the pandemic teach us?

Resumo: | Objective: Discuss from the literature aspects related to the control of the covid-19 pandemic in Brazilian territory and actions for the prevention and control of new events. Methods: An integrative review was carried out with the following guiding question: which actions to control the COVID-19 pandemic were highlighted in the Brazilian literature in 2020? ”. Results: 4 texts from the VHL and 20 from the academic Google were selected. The chronological distribution of the studies takes place especially after the month of April in the year 2020. Regarding the types of studies, 18 articles, 2 technical notes and 4 recommendations for pandemic control were selected. Discussion: The recurring themes were: Social isolation, use of PPE's and hand hygiene; PHC contributions in this context and adaptations of care to address the population; and, finally, forms of prevention for workers stand out. The findings were categorized by systematic analysis as follows: Social isolation as the main initiative and other general measures; coping policies; and limitations and contributions of Primary Health Care and workers' health. Conclusion: The texts are concatenated for the strategic solution of the problems arising from the pandemic and reflect legal and protocol mechanisms in the health field in view of the demands arising. |

Métodos: Se realizó una revisión integradora con la siguiente pregunta orientadora: ¿qué acciones para controlar la pandemia de COVID-19 se destacaron en la literatura brasileña en 2020? ”. Resultados: se seleccionaron 4 textos de la BVS y 20 del académico Google. La distribución cronológica de los estudios se lleva a cabo especialmente después del mes de abril del año 2020. En cuanto a los tipos de estudios, se seleccionaron 18 artículos, 2 notas técnicas y 4 recomendaciones para el control de pandemias. Discusión: Los temas recurrentes fueron: aislamiento social, uso de EPP e higiene de manos; Contribuciones de APS en este contexto y adaptaciones de atención para atender a la población; y, finalmente, se destacan las formas de prevención para los trabajadores. Los resultados se clasificaron mediante análisis sistemático de la siguiente manera: aislamiento social como la iniciativa principal y otras medidas generales; políticas de afrontamiento; y limitaciones y contribuciones de la atención primaria de salud y la salud de los trabajadores. Conclusión: los textos se concatenan para la solución estratégica de los problemas derivados de la pandemia y reflejan mecanismos legales y de protocolo en el campo de la salud en vista de las demandas que surgen.Objetivo: Discutir a partir da literatura aspectos ligados ao controle da pandemia de COVID-19 em território brasileiro e ações para prevenção e controle de novos eventos. Metodologia: Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa com a seguinte questão norteadora: quais ações de controle da pandemia de COVID-19 foram destacadas na literatura brasileira em 2020?”. Resultados: Foram selecionados 4 textos da BVS e 20 do Google acadêmico. A distribuição cronológica dos estudos se dá especialmente após o mês de abril no ano de 2020. No que tange aos tipos de estudo, foram selecionados 18 artigos, 2 notas técnicas e 4 recomendações de controle da pandemia. Discussão: Os temas recorrentes foram: Isolamento social, utilização de EPI’s e higienização das mãos; contribuições da APS nesse contexto e adaptações dos atendimentos para abordar a população; e, por fim, destacam-se formas de prevenção para os trabalhadores. Os achados foram categorizados por análise sistemática da seguinte forma: Isolamento social como principal iniciativa e outras medidas gerais; políticas de enfrentamento; e limitações e contribuições da Atenção Primária e Saúde do trabalhador.
