Evaluation of the performance of structural systems of housing buildings in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará

Resumo: The performance level of structural housing building systems is directly related to quality during the project phases, such as execution and use, and to ensure safety and efficiency in these stages, the buildings must present a minimum level of performance, according to the recommendations of the Brazilian housing performance standard (ABNT NBR 15575). The research involves the qualification of points of non-compliance with the minimum criteria required in NBR 15575/2013 and evaluation of pathological manifestations that affect these buildings. A questionnaire was applied in five works, in the execution phase, with the purpose of diagnosing the knowledge of the builders regarding the minimum recommendations and the application in the new enterprises and, for the evaluation of pathological manifestations, it was raised as observed by the technical team of the works. The results indicate a good level of knowledge about the recommendations, only the topics related to the resistance of reinforced concrete elements, in a fire situation, present indicators below the minimum specifications required. It can be concluded that the procedures adopted by the technical teams, during the design and execution of the housing units, indicate a satisfactory basis regarding the minimum performance of their structural systems.

La investigación contempla la calificación de los puntos de incumplimiento de los criterios mínimos requeridos en La NBR 15575/2013 y la evaluación de manifestaciones patológicas que afectan a estos edificios. Se aplicó un cuestionario en cinco obras, en fase de ejecución, con el propósito de diagnosticar el conocimiento de los constructores sobre las recomendaciones mínimas y la aplicación en las nuevas empresas y, para la evaluación de manifestaciones patológicas, se planteó como lo observa el equipo técnico de las obras. Los resultados indican un buen nivel de conocimiento sobre las recomendaciones, sólo los temas relacionados con la resistencia de los elementos de hormigón armado, en una situación de incendio, presentan indicadores por debajo de las especificaciones mínimas requeridas. Se puede concluir que los procedimientos adoptados por los equipos técnicos, durante el diseño y ejecución de las unidades de vivienda, indican una base satisfactoria en relación con el rendimiento mínimo de sus sistemas estructurales.O nível desempenho dos sistemas estruturais de edificações habitacionais é diretamente relacionado à qualidade durante as fases de projeto, como execução e uso, e para garantir segurança e eficiência nestas etapas, os edifícios devem apresentar um nível de desempenho mínimo, conforme recomendações da norma de desempenho habitacional brasileira (ABNT NBR 15575). A pesquisa envolve qualificação de pontos de inconformidade com os critérios mínimos requeridos na NBR 15575/2013 e avaliação das manifestações patológicas que acometem estas edificações. Aplicou-se em cinco obras, em fase de execução, um questionário com a finalidade de diagnosticar o conhecimento dos construtores quanto às recomendações mínimas e a aplicação nos novos empreendimentos e, para a avaliação das manifestações patológicas, levantou-se conforme observado pela equipe técnica das obras. Os resultados apontam um bom nível de conhecimento acerca das recomendações, apenas os tópicos relativos à resistência dos elementos de concreto armado, em situação de incêndio, apresentam indicadores inferiores às especificações mínimas requeridas.
