Nurses' perception regarding nursing assistance to the newborn with heart disease: integrative literature review

Resumo: Introduction: The rate of children with congenital heart disease is only increasing. This anomaly is characterized by abnormalities in the structure and development of the heart, causing failure in its functions, resulting from changes in the baby’s embryonic development during pregnancy. Objective: To analyze the perception of nurses in relation to the care provided by the nursing team to newborns with heart disease, according to the literature, through research. Methodology: This is a literature review study, with the purpose of systematically organizing the results obtained through the research. Result: The work of nurses during the care process was identified in the study, highlighting the importance of being on the triage line when receiving the RN with heart disease, performing adequate nursing care, which in the face of the implementation of a nursing care system with processes of nursing with intervention, patient assessment and identification of signs and symptoms that lead to early diagnosis. In addition, the main risk factors that lead to newborn deaths can be exemplified. Conclusion: It is concluded that the Systematization of Nursing Care is responsible for the production and care line of the nursing team, coordinates the care process and improves care so that the care plan is monitored, risk factors identified and the early diagnosis of congenital heart disease with the multidisciplinary team.

Esta patología se caracteriza por anomalías estructurales en el desarrollo del corazón, provocando fallas en sus funciones, originadas en el desarrollo embrionario del bebé. Objetivo: Analizar la percepción de los enfermeros en relación a la asistencia prestada por el equipo de enfermería al recién nacido con cardiopatía, según la literatura, a través de la investigación. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio de revisión bibliográfica, con el propósito de organizar sistemáticamente los resultados obtenidos a través de la investigación. Resultado: En el estudio se identificó el trabajo de los enfermeros durante el proceso de cuidar, destacando la importancia de estar en la primera línea del triaje al recibir al RN con cardiopatía, realizando cuidados de enfermería adecuados, lo que implementando la sistematización de los cuidados de enfermería con sus Procesos que realizan la intervención, evaluación del paciente e identificación de signos y síntomas que conducen a un diagnóstico precoz. Además, se pueden ejemplificar los principales factores de riesgo que llevan a los recién nacidos a la muerte. Conclusión: Se concluye que la Sistematización de la Atención de Enfermería es responsable por la producción y línea de cuidado del equipo de enfermería, coordina el proceso de atención y mejora la asistencia para que exista seguimiento del plan de cuidados, identificación de factores de riesgo y diagnóstico precoz de cardiopatías congénitas con el equipo multidisciplinario.Introdução: O índice de crianças com cardiopatia congênita só vem aumentando. Essa patologia se caracteriza por anormalidade estruturais no desenvolvimento do coração, provocando falhas em suas funções, sendo provenientes desde o desenvolvimento embrionário do bebê. Objetivo: Analisar a percepção do enfermeiro em relação a assistência da equipe de enfermagem ao recém-nascido cardiopata de acordo com as literaturas, mediante a pesquisa. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão de literatura, tendo como finalidade organizar de maneira sistemática os resultados obtidos através da pesquisa. Resultado: Foi identificado no estudo a atuação do enfermeiro durante o processo de cuidado, ressaltando a importância de estar na linha de frente da triagem ao receber o RN cardiopata, realizando uma assistência de enfermagem adequada, que implementando a sistematização da assistência de enfermagem com seus processos de enfermagem realizando intervenção, avaliação do paciente e a identificação de sinais e sintomas que levam ao diagnóstico precoce. Ademais pode se exemplificado os principais fatores de risco que levam o recém-nascido a óbitos.
