The Process of Elaborating the Risk Map of a Public School: A Pedagogical Experience

Resumo: The objective of this article is to present the results of a qualitative investigation of a pedagogical project whose objective was to elaborate the Risk Map of a Public School located in the south of Minas Gerais through a pedagogical experience and contextualized between the disciplines Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. About 110 students participated in the construction of the risk map. The proposal was to approach with the students the concepts of Risks in the school environment, Accident Prevention, Danger and Safety associated to the concepts of the sciences. The Internal Accident Prevention Commission (CIPA) at the school was implemented, and the school's Risk Map was prepared by the students along with the guidance of the science teachers. The elaboration of the Risk Map served as an instrument of teaching and learning according to the results of the work, which enabled the development of a culture of safety and accident prevention, besides solidifying knowledge in science.

Participaron en la construcción del mapa de riesgos cerca de 110 alumnos. La propuesta consistió en abordar con los estudiantes los conceptos de Riesgos en el ambiente escolar, Prevención de Accidentes, Peligro y Seguridad asociados a los conceptos de las ciencias. La Comisión Interna de Prevención de Accidentes (CIPA) en la escuela fue implementada, y el Mapa de Riesgos de la escuela fue elaborado por los alumnos junto con la orientación de los profesores de ciencias. La elaboración del Mapa de Riesgos sirvió como instrumento de enseñanza y aprendizaje de acuerdo con los resultados del trabajo, que posibilitó la desenvoltura de una cultura de seguridad y prevención de accidentes, además de solidificar los conocimientos en ciencias.O presente artigo tem como objetivo apresentar o resultado de uma investigação qualitativa de um projeto pedagógico o qual teve como objetivo elaborar o Mapa de Riscos de uma Escola Pública situada no sul de Minas Gerais por meio de uma experiência pedagógica e contextualizada entre as disciplinas de Matemática, Física, Biologia e Química. Participaram da construção do mapa de riscos cerca de 110 alunos. A proposta consistiu-se em abordar com os estudantes os conceitos de Riscos no ambiente escolar, Prevenção de Acidentes, Perigo e Segurança associados aos conceitos das ciências.
