Study of the technologies for biodiesel production from microalgae of the genus nannochloropsis

Resumo: | The biodiesel difficulties to be implemented due to its high cost associated with the many stages of the production process. In this way, studies are necessary to make the process economically viable. The present article aims to identify the main results of high relevance scientific papers that point out techniques of biodiesel production from microalgae of the genus nannochloropsis. To do so, a systematic review of the Web of Science database with the help of CiteSpace and Google Earth software was carried out, in which it was observed that a promising method consists of direct transesterification of the microalgae, which eliminates the oil extraction step. Another highlight is the use of humid biomass. These methods simplify the biodiesel production process and reduce the processing units and consequently the overall process cost, helping to make biodiesel production of microalgae economically viable. |

De este modo, se hacen necesarios estudios para hacer el proceso económicamente viable. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo identificar los principales resultados de los trabajos científicos de alta relevancia que apuntan técnicas de producción de biodiesel a partir de microalgas del género nannochloropsis. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática de la base de datos de la Web of Science con ayuda del software CiteSpace y Google Earth, en el cual se observó que un método promisor consiste en la transesterificación directa de las microalgas, que elimina la etapa de extracción del aceite. Otro destaque va para uso de biomasa húmeda. Estos métodos simplifican el proceso de producción del biodiesel y reducen las unidades de procesamiento y, consecuentemente, el coste del proceso global, contribuyendo a que la producción de biodiésel de microalgas económicamente viable.O biodiesel apresenta dificuldades para ser implementado devido ao seu elevado custo associado às muitas etapas do processo de produção. Deste modo, se fazem necessários estudos a fim de tornar o processo economicamente viável. O presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar os principais resultados dos trabalhos científicos de alta relevância que apontam técnicas de produção de biodiesel a partir de microalgas do gênero nannochloropsis. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da base de dados da Web of Science com auxílio dos softwares CiteSpace e Google Earth, no qual observou-se que um método promissor consiste na transesterificação direta das microalgas, que elimina a etapa de extração do óleo. Outro destaque vai para utilização de biomassa úmida.
