Landscape analysis in time and space through the supervised classification of the municipality of Belém in the period 2008 to 2020

Resumo: Due to centuries of formation and development, the history of Belém is confused with the history of Pará itself. However, there were factors that influenced the crisis, causing the territory of Belen to gradually urbanize. The present work aimed to spatially analyze the landscape of the municipality of Belém regarding the classes of forest, vegetation, urban area, exposed soil and water, using knowledge about remote sensing and geoprocessing techniques through supervised classification applied to images from the years 2008 , 2020 by the QGIS software in version 3.16.7, to demonstrate the change in the territory of Belen in this 10-year interval. With this method it was possible to obtain good and effective results as the geotechnology tools such as ARCGIS both to perform the visual classification and the supervised classification and the minimum distance method obtained satisfactory results, it was possible to notice in this study that there was a decrease of 0.53 % in the year 2008 to 0.48% in the year 2020 and a growth in relation to vegetation from 0.25% to 0.32%, while the urban area had a growth from 0.13% in 2008 to 0.19 % in 2020 and obtained a decrease in relation to the exposed soil from 0.09% to 0.08%. With this, we can emphasize that the use of geotechnology significantly contributes to studies on the dynamics of natural phenomena and helps in understanding changes in a territory over time. In this way, these digital tools allow the construction of models for anticipating changes and minimizing impacts.

Sin embargo, hubo factores que influyeron en la crisis, provocando que el territorio de Belén se urbanizara paulatinamente. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar espacialmente el paisaje del municipio de Belém en cuanto a las clases de bosque, vegetación, área urbana, suelo expuesto y agua, utilizando conocimientos sobre técnicas de teledetección y geoprocesamiento mediante clasificación supervisada aplicada a imágenes de los años 2008, 2020. por el software QGIS en la versión 3.16.7, para demostrar el cambio en el territorio de Belén en este intervalo de 10 años. Con este método se pudo obtener buenos resultados y efectivos ya que las herramientas geotecnológicas como ARCGIS tanto para realizar la clasificación visual como la clasificación supervisada y el método de distancia mínima obtuvo resultados satisfactorios, se pudo percibir en este estudio que hubo una disminución de 0.53 % en el año 2008 a 0.48 % en el año 2020 y un crecimiento en relación a la vegetación de 0.25 % a 0.32 %, mientras que la zona urbana tuvo un crecimiento de 0.13 % en 2008 a 0.19 % en 2020 y obtuvo una disminución en relación al suelo expuesto de 0,09% a 0,08%. Con esto, podemos enfatizar que el uso de la geotecnología contribuye significativamente a los estudios sobre la dinámica de los fenómenos naturales y ayuda a comprender los cambios en un territorio a lo largo del tiempo. De esta forma, estas herramientas digitales permiten construir modelos para anticipar cambios y minimizar impactos.Devido aos séculos de formação e desenvolvimento a história de Belém é confundida com a própria história do Pará. Porém ocorreram fatores que influenciaram a crise fazendo com que o território belenense urbanizasse de forma gradativa. O trabalho presente teve como objetivo analisar espacialmente a paisagem do município de Belém quanto as classes de floresta, vegetação área urbana, solo exposto e água, utilizando os conhecimentos sobre sensoriamento remoto e técnicas do geoprocessamento através da classificação supervisionada aplicando nas imagens dos anos de 2008, 2020 pelo software QGIS na versão 3.16.7, para demostrar a mudança do território belenense nesse intervalo de 10 anos. Com este método foi possível obter bons resultados e eficaz quanto as ferramentas da geotecnologia como ARCGIS tanto para realizar a classificação visual quanto a classificação supervisionada e o método de distância mínima obtiveram resultados satisfatórios, foi possível perceber nesse estudo que houve um decréscimo de 0,53% no ano de 2008 para 0,48% no ano de 2020 e um crescimento em relação de vegetação de 0,25% para 0,32%, enquanto a área urbana teve um crescimento de 0,13% em 2008 para 0,19% em 2020 e obteve um decréscimo em relação ao solo exposto de 0,09% para 0,08%. Com isso podemos enfatizar que o uso da geotecnologia contribui de forma significativa estudos sobre a dinâmica dos fenômenos naturais e auxilia na compreensão das mudanças de um território diante do tempo.
