Descriptive analysis of the results of the state of Paraíba in the National Assessments of Patient Safety Practices 2016-2019

Resumo: This study aims to present the results of the indicators evaluated in the state of Paraíba in the National Assessments of Patient Safety Practices 2016-2019. A quantitative and qualitative, descriptive and retrospective study was carried out on the reports released from 2017 to 2020 by Anvisa that show the results of the health services in Paraíba that participated in the Assessments. As a result, the year with the highest and lowest proportion of participating services was identified, as well as the number of non-conformities, the criteria with the best and worst results and the list of health services classified as high adherence over the years. We conclude that it is not possible to compare the results due to the variability of the participating services, as well as the inclusion of new evaluation criteria over the years and changes in the codification of the analyzed criteria, however with an annual and punctual analysis of the information contained in the published reports, measurements can be made, including knowing the indicators that need to be improved in compliance and guiding decision-making for the implementation and/or implementation of strategies to raise the quality of care through the Patient Safety practices of the services participating in the evaluation in the territory of Paraíba.

Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo, descriptivo y retrospectivo de los informes difundidos de 2017 a 2020 por la Anvisa que muestran los resultados de los servicios de salud de Paraíba que participaron de las Evaluaciones. Como resultado, se identificó el año con mayor y menor proporción de servicios participantes, así como el número de no conformidades, los criterios con mejores y peores resultados y la lista de servicios de salud clasificados como de alta adherencia a lo largo de los años. Concluimos que no es posible comparar los resultados debido a la variabilidad de los servicios participantes, así como la inclusión de nuevos criterios de evaluación a lo largo de los años y cambios en la codificación de los criterios analizados, sin embargo con un análisis anual y puntual de a partir de la información contenida en los informes publicados, se pueden realizar mediciones, incluso conocer los indicadores que se deben mejorar en el cumplimiento y orientar la toma de decisiones para la implementación y/o implementación de estrategias para elevar la calidad de la atención a través de las prácticas de Seguridad del Paciente de los servicios participantes de la evaluación en el territorio de Paraíba.Este estudo tem por objetivo, apresentar os resultados dos indicadores aferidos dos serviços de saúde da Paraíba que participaram das Avaliações Nacionais das Práticas de Segurança do Paciente 2016-2019. Foi realizado um estudo quanti e qualitativo, descritivo e retrospectivo dos relatórios divulgados de 2017 a 2020 pela Anvisa que mostram os resultados dos serviços de saúde da Paraíba que participaram das avaliações.
