Reflections on the advantages of using the ML-SAI pedagogical model from the perspective of learners

Resumo: The ML-SAI is a pedagogical model formatted for activities with mobile devices, based on the Inverted Classroom (SAI) theory. The aim of this article is to promote reflections on the advantages of using the ML-SAI pedagogical model from the perspective of learners. For this purpose, data collection instruments were used: observation, online questionnaire and records in the Edmodo virtual environment. The results showed some benefits, such as: improved class performance, greater autonomy and student participation, excellent receptivity to the model and proposed strategies, teacher performance approved by the students.

El objetivo de este artículo es promover reflexiones sobre las ventajas de utilizar el modelo pedagógico ML-SAI desde la perspectiva de los educandos. Para ello se utilizaron instrumentos de recolección de datos: observación, cuestionario en línea y registros en el ambiente virtual Edmodo. Los resultados mostraron algunos beneficios, tales como: mejor desempeño en clase, promovió mayor autonomía y participación de los estudiantes, excelente receptividad al modelo y estrategias propuestas, desempeño docente aprobado por los estudiantes.O ML-SAI é um modelo pedagógico formatado para atividades com dispositivos móveis, tendo como fundamentação a teoria da Sala de Aula Invertida (SAI). O objetivo deste artigo é promover reflexões das vantagens da utilização do modelo pedagógico ML-SAI na perspectiva dos aprendizes. Para tal, foram utilizados os instrumentos de coletas de dados: observação, questionário on-line e registros no ambiente virtual Edmodo.
