Resumo: | The Covid-19 disease became a pandemic in 2019, starting in China. This disease is being related to opportunistic infections, mainly fungal. One of these co-infections refers to the association with mucormycosis. Objective: In this sense, this study was carried out to evaluate the information available in the literature on the subject and to detect possible clinical conducts. Methodology: For this, the scope review methodology was used to gather information about possible treatments and clinical procedures related to this double infection. Results: 350 articles were found and at the end 13 articles were included in the analysis. Close follow-up of the patients was identified as the clinical procedure to be adopted, in order to identify any facial necrosis, and liposomal amphotericin B was identified as treatment. Conclusion: This knowledge helps the SUS to set up care strategies and robust clinical protocols in relation to this co-infection, which is still little known, as observed in the current literature. |

Research, Society and Development2022-04-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/2861110.33448/rsd-v11i5.28611Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 5; e46811528611Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 5; e46811528611Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 5; e468115286112525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/28611/25980Copyright (c) 2022 Juliana Carvalho Rocha Alves da Silva; Grasiela Piuvezam; Artur Felipe Siqueira de Britohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva, Juliana Carvalho Rocha Alves da Piuvezam, GrasielaBrito, Artur Felipe Siqueira de 2022-04-17T18:18:56Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/28611Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:45:57.029774Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
