Resumo: Experience report on the development of an operative group carried out in a brothel existing in a territory of a municipality in the interior of Ceará. The intervention aimed to provide spaces for health promotion for sex workers, boosting their access to Primary Health Care (PHC) actions and services, raising awareness of the importance of active participation in their health care process. The distance of this population from the health services is noticed, with this, the importance of the development of actions that will promote processes of reflection and autonomy of sex professionals with regard to prevention and health care, to the functioning of the services, as well as their rights and duties to health and citizenship, promoting an improvement in the assistance offered.

La intervención tuvo como objetivo brindar espacios para la promoción de la salud de las trabajadoras sexuales, potenciando su acceso a las acciones y servicios de la Atención Primaria de Salude (APS), sensibilizándolos sobre la importancia de la participación activa en su processo de atención a la salud. Se advierte el alejamiento de esta población de los servicios de salud, con eso, la importancia del desarrollo de acciones que promuvan processos de reflexión y autonomía de los professionales del sexo em cuanto a la prevención y atención a la salud, así como al funcionamiento de los servicios, como sus derechos y deberes a la salud y la ciudadanía, promoviendo uma mejora em la assistência oferecida.Relato de experiência sobre o desenvolvimento de um grupo operativo realizado em um prostíbulo existente em um território de um município no interior do Ceará. A intervenção objetivou viabilizar espaços de promoção da saúde para profissionais do sexo, impulsionando seu acesso nas ações e serviços da Atenção Primária a Saúde (APS), sensibilizando-as sobre a importância da participação ativa no seu processo de cuidados em saúde.
