Meaningful Learning in Cosmology teaching from a Neuroscience perspective

Resumo: In this work, an investigation was carried out on the interlocution between Neuroscience and Meaningful Learning, for the teaching of Cosmology. In this perspective, a question was asked: from the interface between Neuroscience and Meaningful Learning, what contributions can be evidenced for the teaching of Cosmology? The research, of basic nature and qualitative approach, adopted as parameter national official documents and the results of previous research described in articles, dissertations and theses, in the period from 1976 to 2021. The results reveal that the understanding of architecture and neural functioning will be favorable for the training of teachers, allowing them to adopt methods and practices that promote meaningful learning in Cosmology. However, the approximation between these areas should occur with caution, in order to avoid an immediate, simplistic and prescriptive appropriation of neurobiological concepts.

Desde esta perspectiva, se formuló una pregunta: desde la interfaz entre la Neurociencia y el Aprendizaje Significativo, ¿qué aportes se pueden evidenciar para la enseñanza de la Cosmología? La investigación, de carácter básico y enfoque cualitativo, adoptó como parámetro los documentos oficiales nacionales y los resultados de investigaciones anteriores descritas en artículos, disertaciones y tesis, en el período de 1976 a 2021. Los resultados revelan que la comprensión de la arquitectura y el funcionamiento neuronal será favorable para la formación de los profesores, permitiéndoles adoptar métodos y prácticas que promuevan el aprendizaje significativo en Cosmología. Sin embargo, el acercamiento entre estas áreas debe producirse con cautela para evitar una apropiación inmediata, simplista y prescriptiva de los conceptos neurobiológicos.Neste trabalho, realizou-se uma investigação sobre a interlocução entre a Neurociência e a Aprendizagem Significativa, para o ensino de Cosmologia. Nessa perspectiva, formulou-se uma questão: a partir da interface entre Neurociência e Aprendizagem Significativa, que contribuições podem ser evidenciadas para o ensino de Cosmologia? A pesquisa, de natureza básica e abordagem qualitativa, adotou como parâmetro documentos oficiais nacionais e os resultados de pesquisas anteriores descritos em artigos, dissertações e teses, no período de 1976 a 2021. Os resultados revelam que a compreensão da arquitetura e do funcionamento neural será favorável para a formação dos professores, possibilitando que eles passem a adotar métodos e práticas que promovam uma aprendizagem significativa em Cosmologia.
