Resumo: | The reflexes caused by COVID-19, caused a great anxiety for the mass and its rulers, since its propagation is fast and lethal. In this context, an accurate and safe treatment to reduce probable complications, which can minimize the morbidity and mortality resulting from the disease. This study aims to highlight the existing scientific evidence of increased sales in the use of the following drugs: azithromycin 500 mg, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, vitamin C, ivermectin and acetylcysteine 600 mg, in a private drugstore in the city of Redenção-Pará. The study was supported by a quantitative and qualitative research, during the period from January 2019 to December 2020. There were 2,787 sales of the analyzed drugs, where ivermectin was the most sold drug, mainly in the months of June and July 2020; followed by vitamin C, dexamethasone, dipyrone and anticoagulant. The use of these medications without the prescription of a trained professional can cause serious damage to health, even leading to death. |

En este contexto, un tratamiento certero y seguro para reducir las probables complicaciones, lo que puede minimizar la morbimortalidad derivada de la enfermedad. Este estudio tiene como objetivo resaltar la evidencia científica existente de aumento de ventas en el uso de los siguientes medicamentos: azitromicina 500 mg, hidroxicloroquina, zinc, vitamina C, ivermectina y acetilcisteína 600 mg, en una farmacia privada de la ciudad de Redenção-Para. El estudio fue apoyado por una investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa, durante el período de enero de 2019 a diciembre de 2020. Se realizaron 2.787 ventas de los fármacos analizados, donde la ivermectina fue el fármaco más vendido, principalmente en los meses de junio y julio de 2020; seguido de vitamina C, dexametasona, dipirona y anticoagulante. El uso de estos medicamentos sin la prescripción de un profesional capacitado puede causar graves daños a la salud, incluso la muerte.Os reflexos causados pela COVID-19, ocasionaram uma grande ansiedade para a massa e seus governantes, uma vez que sua propagação é rápida e letal. Nesse contexto, um tratamento preciso e seguro para reduzir prováveis complicações, podendo minimizar a morbimortalidade advinda da doença. O presente estudo objetiva destacar à evidência científica existente ao aumento das vendas presentes no uso dos seguintes medicamentos: azitromicina 500 mg, hidroxicloroquina, zinco, vitamina C, ivermectina e acetilcisteina 600 mg, em uma drogaria particular no município de Redenção-Pará. O estudo foi apoiado por uma pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa, durante o período de janeiro de 2019 a dezembro de 2020. Foram realizadas 2.787 vendas dos fármacos analisados, onde a ivermectina foi o medicamento mais vendido principalmente nos meses de junho e julho de 2020; seguida pela vitamina C, dexametasona, dipirona e anticoagulante.
