Nurses' performance in Primary Health Care in the context of a pandemic caused by covid-19

Resumo: Objective: To highlight in the literature the role of nurses during the period of pandemic by covid-19 in Primary Care. Methodology: This is an integrative review of a descriptive nature with a qualitative approach; the databases used were MEDLINE, BDENF and LILACS, using the descriptors: "SARS-COV-2", "Coronavirus", "Nursing" and       "Primary Care", seeking to answer the following question: "What is the role of nurses in Primary Care during the             covid-19 pandemic?”, 14 articles were selected, published between 2019 and 2021. Results: Nursing has reinvented itself to ensure its performance with excellence, both in its role in education and health promotion, as well as in the prevention of diseases and injuries, in order to provide new care in relation to covid-19, continuing the actions of Primary Care. Conclusion: Nursing, during the health crisis, has shown its importance in the health system and its         commitment with the lives of individuals, families, communities and groups that they take care of together with the health teams. Therefore, it is necessary for nurses to be able to reinvent themselves in their processes of service to the public, even facing the difficulties several challenges that the health system had already been presenting and that with the advent of the pandemic were enhanced.

Metodología: Se trata de una revisión integradora de carácter descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo; las bases de datos utilizadas fueron MEDLINE, BDENF y LILACS, utilizando los descriptores: "SARS-COV-2", "Coronavirus", "Enfermería" y "Atención Primaria", buscando responder a la siguiente pregunta: "¿Cuál es el papel de las enfermeras en ¿Atención Primaria durante la pandemia de covid-19?”, se seleccionaron 14 artículos, publicados entre 2019 y 2021. Resultados: La enfermería se ha reinventado para asegurar su desempeño con excelencia, tanto en su rol de educación y promoción de la salud, como en la prevención de enfermedades y lesiones, con el fin de brindar nuevos cuidados en relación al covid-19, continuando las acciones de Atención Primaria Conclusión: Enfermería, durante la crisis sanitaria, ha demostrado su importancia en el sistema de salud y su compromiso con la vida de los personas, familias, comunidades y grupos que cuidan junto con los equipos de salud, por lo tanto, es necesario que las enfermeras puedan reinventarse en sus procesos de servicio al público, incluso frente a las dificultades varios retos que ya venía presentando el sistema de salud y que con la llegada de la pandemia se potenciaron.Objetivo: Evidenciar na literatura a atuação do Enfermeiro durante o período de pandemia por covid-19 na Atenção Básica. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, de natureza descritiva com abordagem qualitativa; as bases de dados utilizadas foram MEDLINE, BDENF e LILACS, utilizando os descritores: “SARS-COV-2", “Coronavírus”, "Enfermagem” e “Atenção Básica", buscando responder a seguinte questão: “Qual a atuação do enfermeiro na Atenção Básica durante a pandemia de covid-19?”, sendo selecionados 14 artigos, publicados entre 2019 e 2021. Resultados: A enfermagem tem se reinventado para assegurar a sua atuação com excelência, tanto na sua função na educação e promoção da saúde, quanto na prevenção de doenças e agravos, com a finalidade de efetuar novos cuidados em relação à covid-19 dando continuidade às ações próprias da Atenção Básica. Conclusão: A enfermagem,                durante a crise sanitária, tem mostrado sua importância no sistema de saúde e seu compromisso com a vida dos indivíduos, famílias, comunidades e grupos que cuida juntamente com as equipes de saúde.
