Resumo: Natal teeth are teeth present in the oral cavity at birth. This disorder can lead to some problems for the newborn, such as Riga-Fede disease and the risk of aspiration and swallowing of the dental element by the baby, as well as injuries to the mother's breast during breastfeeding. The objective of this study was to report the clinical case of a patient of four days of life, taken to the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of the Positivo University by his mother, who complained of a tooth in the lower anterior region. At the clinical examination, a natal tooth was observed in the region of the lower central incisors. The treatment performed was the exodontia of element 81 due to the baby's great mobility and risk of aspiration. The therapeutic decision must consider some essential factors, such as the levels of implantation and mobility of the natal tooth, which can generate complications and risks to the baby's health.

Este desorden puede acarrear algunos problemas para el recién nacido, como enfermedad de Riga-Fede, el riesgo de aspiración y deglución del elemento dental por el bebé, así como lesiones en el seno de la madre durante la lactancia. El objetivo del trabajo fue relatar el caso clínico de un paciente de cuatro días de vida, llevado a la Clínica de Odontopediatría de la Universidad Positivo por su madre, quien se quejaba de la presencia de un diente en la región anterior inferior. En el examen clínico, se observó la presencia de un diente natal en la región de los incisivos centrales inferiores. El tratamiento realizado fue la exodoncia del elemento 81, debido a la gran movilidad y riesgo de aspiración por el bebé. La decisión terapéutica debe tener en cuenta algunos factores importantes, como los niveles de implantación y movilidad del diente natal, la cual puede generar complicaciones y riesgos a la salud del bebé.Dentes natais são dentes presentes na cavidade bucal ao nascimento. Essa desordem pode acarretar alguns problemas para o recém-nascido, como doença de Riga-Fede, risco de aspiração e deglutição do elemento dental, bem como lesões no seio materno durante a amamentação. O objetivo deste trabalho foi relatar o caso clínico de um paciente de quatro dias de vida, levado à Clínica de Odontopediatria da Universidade Positivo por sua mãe, a qual se queixava da presença de um dente na região anterior inferior da boca da criança. Ao exame clínico, observou-se a presença de um dente natal na região dos incisivos centrais inferiores. O tratamento realizado consistiu em exodontia do elemento 81, devido ao elevado grau mobilidade e risco de aspiração pelo bebê.
