Biodiesel: Um tema gerador para o estudo da química do éster e poluição atmosférica

Resumo: | Nowadays, the teaching of chemistry in Brazil has not met the requirements for training citizens as questioners of reality. Most of the time, traditional teaching methodologies are adopted, which are limited to mere expository teaching in the classroom. This manuscript contrasts with the traditional view of teaching by using new teaching methodologies, such as texts, didactic videos, conceptual maps, didactic games, and interactive-exposition classes already used in the traditional method. The manuscript aims to strengthen the critical view and citizens' posture based on CTS (Science, Technology, and Society) teaching and the National Curricular Base (BNCC), focusing on the biodiesel theme, in addition to improving the performance of learning organic chemistry content. For this, a qualitative, discursive and critical study was employed. The study was conducted with the generating theme of biodiesel, which is widely discussed in the media. This subject was used to study esters and atmospheric pollution in a third-grade classroom at Luciano Cabral Duarte State High School, located in Aracaju - SE. The application of a didactic film, along with conceptual maps and didactic games, led to an improvement in the understanding of chemical and environmental concepts related to biodiesel productions. |

The application of a didactic film, along with conceptual maps and didactic games, led to an improvement in the understanding of chemical and environmental concepts related to biodiesel productions.En la actualidad, la enseñanza de la química en Brasil no cumple con los requisitos para formar ciudadanos como cuestionadores de la realidad, ya que la mayor parte del tiempo se adoptan metodologías de enseñanza tradicionales, limitadas a la mera exposición en el aula. Este trabajo contrasta con la visión tradicional de enseñanza mediante el uso de nuevas metodologías, como textos, videos didácticos, mapas conceptuales, juegos didácticos y clases interactivas, que ya se utilizan en el método tradicional. El objetivo de este trabajo es fortalecer la visión crítica y la postura ciudadana basada en la enseñanza de Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad (CTS) y en la Base Nacional Común Curricular (BNCC), enfocándose en el tema del biodiesel, además de mejorar el rendimiento del aprendizaje de los contenidos de química orgánica. Para ello se utilizó un estudio cualitativo, discursivo y crítico. El estudio se llevó a cabo con el tema generador del biodiesel, que se discute ampliamente en los medios de comunicación. Este tema se utilizó para el estudio de los ésteres y la contaminación atmosférica en un aula de tercer grado de la Escuela Secundaria Estatal Luciano Cabral Duarte, ubicada en Aracaju - SE. La aplicación de una película didáctica, junto con mapas conceptuales y juegos didácticos, mejoró la comprensión de los conceptos químicos y ambientales relacionados con la producción de biodiesel.Atualmente, o ensino de química no Brasil ainda não tem atendido aos requisitos para formação do cidadão enquanto questionador da realidade, pois na maior parte do tempo adota metodologias de ensino tradicionais restritas ao ensino meramente expositivo em sala de aula. Este trabalho se contrapõe a esta perspectiva de ensino, através da utilização de diversos recursos como, textos, vídeos didáticos, mapas conceituais, jogos didáticos além de aulas expositivo-interativas já utilizadas no método tradicional. O objetivo do trabalho visou o fortalecimento da visão crítica e postura cidadã dos alunos fundamentada no ensino por CTS e na Base Nacional Curricular Comum (BNCC), tendo como foco o tema biodiesel, além de melhorar o desempenho de aprendizados dos conteúdos de química orgânica. Para isto, foi empregado um estudo de natureza qualitativa, discursiva e crítica. O trabalho foi realizado com o tema gerador, biodiesel, o qual é muito abordado na mídia. Este tema foi usado para o estudo dos ésteres e poluição atmosférica em uma sala da 3ª série do ensino médio do colégio Estadual Dom Luciano Cabral Duarte, localizado em Aracaju – SE.
