Resumo: | The present research aims to approach the construction system called Steel Frame in a complex way, analyzing its specificities on its constructive aspects, from the feasibility of adopting the system to the form of application in the different types of works. The relationship between Steel Frame and sustainability is the focus of the research, detailing the advantages of the system in relation to the benefits to the environment, such as: lower generation of solid waste in construction, reduction of materials for the execution of the same type of work, if compared to the conventional construction method (ceramic masonry for sealing elements and structural elements of reinforced concrete). Finally, the physical-financial analysis of a 3-story building, considering the components of the Steel Frame system including materials and specific labor, making a comparative analysis to the conventional system. A priori, bibliometric research specialized in the system to be studied will be used as an approach method, highlighting the specificities and elaborating parameters for feasibility analysis. |

La relación entre Steel Frame y la sustentabilidad es el foco de la investigación, detallando las ventajas del sistema en relación a los beneficios al medio ambiente, tales como: menor generación de residuos sólidos en la construcción, reducción de materiales para la ejecución del mismo tipo de obra, si se compara con el método constructivo convencional (mampostería cerámica para elementos de sellado y elementos estructurales de hormigón armado). Finalmente, el análisis físico-financiero de un edificio de 3 pisos, considerando los componentes del sistema Steel Frame incluyendo materiales y mano de obra específica, realizando un análisis comparativo al sistema convencional. A priori, se utilizará como método de abordaje la investigación bibliométrica especializada en el sistema a estudiar, destacando las especificidades y elaborando parámetros para el análisis de factibilidad.A presente pesquisa visa abordar de forma complexa o sistema construtivo denominado de Steel Frame, analisando suas especificidades sobre seus aspectos construtivos, desde a viabilidade de adotar o sistema até a forma de aplicação nos diversos tipos de obras. A relação do Steel Frame com a sustentabilidade é o enfoque da pesquisa, sendo detalhadas as vantagens do sistema em relação aos benefícios acarretados ao meio ambiente, como: menor geração de resíduos sólidos na construção, diminuição de materiais para a execução de um mesmo tipo de obra, se comparado ao método construtivo convencional (alvenaria cerâmica para elementos de vedação e elementos estruturais de concreto armado). Por fim, a análise físico-financeira de uma edificação de 3 pavimentos, considerando os elementos componentes do sistema Steel Frame incluindo materiais e mão de obra específica, fazendo uma análise comparativa ao sistema convencional.
