Resumo: | Generally, the services in general, including health care, are not properly prepared for the reception of people with deaf blindness, the nursing professionals, in large part, demonstrate unpreparedness in understanding the population with special needs, interfering directly in the quality of care offered, in this context, the need to discuss issues that cover the accessibility of this audience to health services stands out. Given this, this work has as its primary objective to know the damage by the difficulty of communication in the care of nursing professionals to the deaf person, and as secondary objectives: to understand what are the causes of this difficulty in providing health care to the deaf and sensitize nurses about the importance of sign language in the area of health. The research was an integrative review, which is a method that includes analysis of relevant research that enhances decision making and improvement of clinical practice. It is the construction of an extensive evaluation of the literature, contributing to discussions about methods and results of research on the damage by the difficulty of communication in health care to deaf people, as well as conducting future studies. It was noticeable with the findings about the study, about the benefits of a specialized and appropriate care for the deaf patient by the nursing professional, in addition to losses allied to this need if not met, such as dissatisfaction, fear, decreased search, misdiagnoses. |

Ante esto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo primario conocer los perjuicios por la dificultad de comunicación en la atención de los profesionales de enfermería a la persona sorda, y como objetivos secundarios: conocer cuáles son las causas de esta dificultad en la prestación del servicio de salud a las personas sordas y sensibilizar a las enfermeras sobre la importancia de la lengua de signos en la salud. La investigación fue una revisión integradora, que es un método que incluye el análisis de investigaciones relevantes que refuerzan la toma de decisiones y la mejora de la práctica clínica. Consiste en la construcción de una amplia evaluación de la literatura, contribuyendo a las discusiones sobre los métodos y resultados de las investigaciones sobre los daños por la dificultad de comunicación en el cuidado de la salud a la persona sorda, así como la realización de futuros estudios. Fue perceptible con los hallazgos sobre el estudio, sobre los beneficios de un cuidado especializado y adecuado para el paciente sordo por parte del profesional de enfermería, además de las pérdidas aliadas a esta necesidad si no se satisface, como insatisfacción, miedo, disminución de la búsqueda, diagnósticos erróneos.Geralmente os serviços em geral, incluindo o atendimento à saúde, não estão devidamente preparados para o acolhimento da pessoa com surdez, os profissionais de enfermagem, em grande parte, demonstram despreparo no entendimento da população com necessidades especiais, interferindo de forma direta na qualidade do cuidado ofertado, nesse contexto, se destaca a necessidade de debater questões que abrangem a acessibilidade desse público aos serviços de saúde. Diante disso, esse trabalho tem como objetivo primário conhecer os prejuízos pela dificuldade de comunicação no atendimento dos profissionais de enfermagem à pessoa surda, e como objetivos secundários: compreender quais as causas dessa dificuldade de prestação de serviço de saúde aos surdos e sensibilizar os enfermeiros sobre a importância da língua de sinais na área da saúde. A pesquisa tratou-se de uma revisão integrativa, a qual é um método que inclui análise de pesquisas relevantes que reforçam a tomada de decisão e aperfeiçoamento da prática clínica. Consiste na construção de uma avaliação extensa da literatura, contribuindo para discussões sobre métodos e resultados de pesquisas acerca dos prejuízos pela dificuldade de comunicação no atendimento de saúde à pessoa surda, assim com realização de futuros estudos.
