Resumo: | Introduction: Visual impairment means the absence of vision or low visual acuity, it is a factor that restricts development, functionality and social participation. Objective: to analyze postural relationships and pressure distributions in the feet of individuals with visual impairment. Methodology: The research was carried out in a quantitative study with 9 individuals from the Jequieense de Cegos Association (AJECE), being used as collection instruments the baropodometer, symmetrograph, Postural Assessment Instrument (IAP) and camera. Results: There was, during the test in baropodometry, a displacement to the posterior part of the right foot. The plantar pressure in the left lower limb was lower when compared to the right lower limb. When analyzing the posture in the symmetrograph, with the help of the IAP, it was analyzed that most of the participants have postural patterns that help them in maintaining static and dynamic balance. Conclusion: It was evidenced that the data of baropodometry together with the IAP and symmetrograph were of great importance to understand the posture of individuals with visual impairment, and with the findings, it was possible to verify that the participants adapt the body to an anti-fall pattern. |

Research, Society and Development2020-09-03info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/762610.33448/rsd-v9i9.7626Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 No. 9; e681997626Research, Society and Development; Vol. 9 Núm. 9; e681997626Research, Society and Development; v. 9 n. 9; e6819976262525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/7626/6886Copyright (c) 2020 Johandra Cristina Vieira Santos; Rafael da Silva Passos; Fabiano Veloso Gomes; Fhelício Sampaio Vianahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSantos, Johandra Cristina Vieira Passos, Rafael da Silva Gomes, Fabiano Veloso Viana, Fhelício Sampaio 2020-09-18T01:42:11Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/7626Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:30:17.699562Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false |
