Resumo: The objective was to characterize the production of brazilian theses and dissertations in the area of ​​nursing in the Intensive Care Unit. Bibliometric review study conducted in October 2018 on the Sucupira Platform. The descriptor “Intensive Care Units” was used and included theses and dissertations published from 2013 to 2017. The data were tabulated in Microsoft Excel® and the abstracts processed in the Interface of R pour les Analyzes Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaire (IRAMUTEQ). The study consisted of 181 productions, of which 71.8% were dissertations, 20.6% theses and 7.6% monographs of professional master's degrees. The regions of Brazil with the highest percentages were Southeast (44.0%) and South (23.2%). The main areas of concentration in the ICU are: "Nursing in the Brazilian social context" and "Health and Nursing". In the IRAMUTEQ the general corpus consisted of 181 dissertations and theses, 1714 text segments and 60,838 occurrences. Of these segments, 1584 (92.42%) were used, representing a significant corpus. The word cloud highlighted the ICU relationship with the "nursing team", "safety" and "patient safety" and the different subjects of care: "neonatal", "child" and "adult". The ICU is a rich and complex scenario for carrying out research and these productions contribute to the improvement of nursing care and patients' prognosis.

Estudio de revisión bibliométrica realizado en octubre de 2018 en la Plataforma Sucupira. Se uso el descriptor "Unidades de cuidados intensivos" e incluya tesis y disertaciones registradas en los años 2013 a 2017. Los datos se tabularon en Microsoft Excel® y los resúmenes se procesaron en la Interfaz R para el análisis multidimensional de textos y cuestionarios (IRAMUTEQ). Una población compuesta por 181 producciones, de las cuales el 71.8% eran disertaciones, el 20.6% tesis y el 7.6% monografías de maestrías profesionales. Las regiones de Brasil con el mayor porcentaje de producción fueron Sureste (44.0%) y Sur (23.2%). Las principales áreas de aplicación en la UCI fueron: "Enfermería en el contexto social brasileño" y "Salud y enfermería". En el IRAMUTEQ o corpus general estaba compuesto por 181 disertaciones y tesis, 1714 registros de texto y 60,838 ocurrencias. Se utilizaron 1584 (92,42%) segmentos, que representan un corpus significativo. Una nube de palabras destacó la relación entre cuidados intensivos y "personal de enfermería", "seguridad" y "seguridad del paciente", con diferentes grupos de pacientes asistidos: "neonatal", "niño" y "adulto". La atención intensiva es un escenario rico y complejo para realizar investigaciones y los resultados de las producciones contribuyen a mejorar la seguridad del paciente y la atención de enfermería.Objetivou-se caracterizar a produção de teses e dissertações brasileiras na área de enfermagem em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva. Aproveitaram-se 1584 (92,42%) segmentos, configurando-se em corpus significativo. A Nuvem de Palavras destacou a relação entre a terapia intensiva e a “equipe de enfermagem”, a “segurança” e a “segurança do paciente” os diferentes grupos de pacientes desta assistência: “neonatal”, “criança” e “adulto”.
