Resumo: The 2030 agenda is a commitment made by more than 190 nations, being a relevant instrument for the promotion of sustainable development worldwide and consisting of 17 goals, called sustainable development goals (SDGs), which are broken down into 169 goals, where within Of these objectives, SDG 6 deals with Drinking Water and Sanitation, it unfolds several goals. In this sense, this article aims to analyze the achievement of goals 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 aimed at the municipality of Pombal in the state of Paraíba. A case study was used as a methodology, with documentary and exploratory research, as well as a comparative analysis. The results showed that in relation to goal 6.1 the municipality will possibly reach by 2030, in relation to goals 6.2 and 6.3 it will hardly reach, it will take effort, commitment from the public power to reach these goals. In order to achieve all the goals of SDG 6, more investment is needed in these areas, it is important that the government promotes partnerships with the private sphere, non-governmental organizations and civil society. It is noteworthy that investing in basic sanitation is investing in several factors such as health, quality of life of the population and environmental preservation of society.

It is noteworthy that investing in basic sanitation is investing in several factors such as health, quality of life of the population and environmental preservation of society.La agenda 2030 es un compromiso asumido por más de 190 naciones, siendo un instrumento relevante para la promoción del desarrollo sostenible a nivel mundial y consta de 17 objetivos, denominados objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (ODS), los cuales se desglosan en 169 objetivos, en donde dentro de estos objetivos, el ODS 6 trata sobre Agua Potable y Saneamiento, despliega varias metas. En ese sentido, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la consecución de las metas 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 dirigidas al municipio de Pombal en el estado de Paraíba. Se utilizó como metodología un estudio de caso, con investigación documental y exploratoria, así como un análisis comparativo. Los resultados mostraron que en relación a la meta 6.1 el municipio posiblemente la alcance para el 2030, en relación a las metas 6.2 y 6.3 difícilmente la alcanzará, requerirá esfuerzo, compromiso del poder público para alcanzar estas metas. Para lograr todas las metas del ODS 6, se necesita más inversión en estas áreas, es importante que el gobierno promueva alianzas con la esfera privada, las organizaciones no gubernamentales y la sociedad civil. Cabe destacar que invertir en saneamiento básico es invertir en varios factores como la salud, la calidad de vida de la población y la preservación ambiental de la sociedad.A agenda 2030 é um compromisso assumido por mais de 190 nações, sendo um instrumento relevante para a promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável mundial e constituída por 17 objetivos, chamados de objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável (ODS), os quais são desmembrados em 169 metas, onde dentro desses objetivos, a ODS 6 trata a respeito da Água Potável e Saneamento, dela se desdobra várias metas. Neste sentido, este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o alcance das metas 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 voltados para o município de Pombal no estado da Paraíba. Utilizou-se como metodologia um estudo de caso, com pesquisas documental e exploratória, bem como a análise comparativa. Os resultados mostraram que em relação a meta 6.1 o município possivelmente atingirá até 2030, com relação as metas 6.2 e 6.3 dificilmente alcançara, será preciso esforço, empenho do poder público para alcance dessas metas.  Para o alcance de todas as metas da ODS 6 é necessário mais investimento nessas áreas, é importante que o poder público promova parcerias com a esfera privada, Organizações não governamentais e sociedade civil.
