Nursing consultation for patients with urinary and stress incontinence and mixed in Primary Health Care

Resumo: | Life expectancy has been increasing significantly worldwide, thereby increasing chronic diseases and geriatric syndromes, with urinary incontinence being one of them. Urinary incontinence is a complaint generally considered normal by the elderly and for this reason not reported in the consultations, it is in this scenario that the nurse who works in primary health care must question and welcome the elderly in nursing consultations. The objective of this work is to report the experience of nurses about the importance of carrying out the nursing consultation in elderly patients with Urinary Incontinence. The work is an experience report of the professional nurses, the nursing consultations took place in a basic health unit, located in a small city in the Central region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, and involved elderly people with urinary complaints . The nursing consultation aims to assist the elderly with a welcoming listening based on scientificity, having as a principle the patient's uniqueness offering an improvement in nursing care. |

La incontinencia urinaria es un padecimiento generalmente considerado normal por los ancianos y por ello no reportado en las consultas, es en este escenario que el enfermero que labora en atención primaria de salud debe interrogar y acoger al anciano en las consultas de enfermería. El objetivo de este trabajo es dar a conocer la experiencia de los enfermeros sobre la importancia de realizar la consulta de enfermería en pacientes ancianos con incontinencia urinaria. El trabajo es un relato de experiencia de las enfermeras profesionales, las consultas de enfermería se llevaron a cabo en una unidad básica de salud, ubicada en una pequeña ciudad de la Región Central del Estado de Rio Grande do Sul, e involucraron a ancianos con molestias urinarias. La consulta de enfermería tiene como objetivo asistir al anciano con una escucha acogedora basada en la cientificidad, teniendo como principio la singularidad del paciente ofreciendo una mejora en los cuidados de enfermería.A expectativa de vida vem aumentando significativamente em nível mundial em com isso o aumento de doenças crônicas e as síndromes geriátricas, sendo a incontinência urinária uma delas. A Incontinência urinária é uma queixa geralmente considerada normal pelos idosos e por esse motivo não relatada nas consultas, é neste cenário que o enfermeiro que atua na atenção primaria em saúde deve questionar e acolher idosos nas consultas de enfermagem. O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar a experiência de enfermeiras sobre a importância da realização da consulta de enfermagem em pacientes idosas com Incontinência Urinária. O trabalho trata- se de um relato de experiência das profissionais enfermeiras, as consultas de enfermagem ocorreram em uma unidade básica de saúde, localizada em um município de pequeno porte na região Central do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, e envolveram idosos com queixas urinárias.
