Resumo: The research aimed to identify in the publications the records of the Child Health Handbook and analyze its evidence in the context of primary care. An integrative literature review study was carried out, with a search carried out in the VHL, SCIELO, MEDLINE, LILACS and BDENF databases. The descriptors "Child", "Personal Health Records" and "Child Development" were used. A total of 2,668 articles were found from all databases, with the application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 698 articles for reading were concluded. Right after reading, 10 articles were finalized for structuring the work. Despite the relevance of the CSC, the results of the present study demonstrate a low rate of completion, as all articles showed a deficit in the quality of the records. Therefore, health education becomes essential, in order to guide health professionals and professionals, aiming at greater knowledge about its importance, incentive regarding its proper use and training to improve the assistance provided to the child.

Se realizó un estudio de revisión integradora de la literatura, con búsqueda realizada en las bases de datos VHL, SCIELO, MEDLINE, LILACS y BDENF. Se utilizaron los descriptores "Niño", "Registros médicos personales" y "Desarrollo infantil". Se encontraron un total de 2.668 artículos de todas las bases de datos, con la aplicación de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se concluyeron 698 artículos para lectura. Inmediatamente después de la lectura, se finalizaron 10 artículos para estructurar el trabajo. A pesar de la relevancia del CSC, los resultados del presente estudio demuestran una baja tasa de finalización, ya que todos los artículos mostraron un déficit en la calidad de los registros. Por tanto, la educación para la salud se torna fundamental, con el fin de orientar a los profesionales y profesionales de la salud, buscando un mayor conocimiento de su importancia, incentivo en su correcto uso y formación para mejorar la asistencia brindada al niño.A pesquisa teve como finalidade identificar nas publicações os registros da Caderneta de Saúde da Criança e analisar suas evidências no âmbito da atenção básica. Foi realizado um estudo de revisão integrativa de literatura, com busca realizada nas bases de dados da BVS, SCIELO, MEDLINE, LILACS e BDENF. Foram utilizados os descritores “Criança”, “Registros de Saúde Pessoal” e “Desenvolvimento Infantil”. Totalizaram-se, de todas as bases, 2.668 artigos encontrados, com a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, concluiu-se 698 artigos para a leitura. Logo após a leitura, finalizou-se 10 artigos para a estruturação do trabalho. Apesar da relevância da CSC, os resultados do presente estudo demonstram baixo índice no seu preenchimento, pois todos os artigos apresentaram déficit quanto a qualidade dos registros.
