Resumo: | According to the WHO, palliative care can be defined as active and total care of the person whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. This type of assistance will be the central point of our work, going through the vision of the patient, nurse and family in the process of finitude. Objectives: In this perspective, this investigation aims to disseminate the study on knowledge, meaning and deep symbols that people involved in this care go through and fragment problems that pass through. Methodology: This is an exploratory descriptive study of the bibliographic type. The survey of articles used took place in the month of May 2020, in the virtual health library, LILACS, MEDLINE and BDENF, aimed at evaluating deep meanings and symbols experienced by people who go through the process of this study. Conclusion: It was found by the work that the nursing professional is, in some cases, poorly prepared, poorly assisted or lacks support to provide better assistance to the family and their client. It is essential that patients and family members go through this moment together help each other, so that both are better prepared for the moment of death. It also showed the importance of spiritual / religious life and the opportune benefits they bring to their patients and family, being a great support for the passage through difficult times. |

Este tipo de asistencia será el punto central de nuestro trabajo, pasando por la visión del paciente, la enfermera y la familia en el proceso de finitud. Objetivos: en esta perspectiva, esta investigación tiene como objetivo difundir el estudio sobre el conocimiento, el significado y los símbolos profundos que atraviesan las personas involucradas en este cuidado y fragmentan los problemas que pasan. Metodología: Este es un estudio descriptivo exploratorio del tipo bibliográfico. La encuesta de los artículos utilizados se realizó en el mes de mayo de 2020, en la biblioteca virtual de salud, LILACS, MEDLINE y BDENF, con el objetivo de evaluar significados y símbolos profundos experimentados por personas que pasar por el proceso de este estudio. Conclusión: el trabajo descubrió que el profesional de enfermería, en algunos casos, está mal preparado, mal asistido o carece de apoyo para brindar una mejor asistencia a la familia y a su cliente. Es esencial que los pacientes y los familiares pasen por este momento juntos y se ayuden mutuamente, para que ambos estén mejor preparados para el momento de la muerte. También mostró la importancia de la vida espiritual / religiosa y los beneficios oportunos que brindan a sus pacientes y familiares, siendo un gran apoyo para el paso por tiempos difíciles.De acordo com a OMS, os cuidados paliativos podem ser definidos como cuidados ativos e totais da pessoa cuja doença não responde mais ao tratamento curativo. Esse tipo de assistência será o ponto central do nosso trabalho perpassando pela visão do paciente, enfermeiro e família no processo de finitude. Objetivos: Nessa perspectiva, esta investigação tem o objetivo de divulgar o estudo sobre conhecimento, significado e símbolos profundos que as pessoas envolvidas nesse cuidado atravessam e fragmentar problemas que perpassam. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório descritivo do tipo bibliográfico o levantamento de artigos utilizados se deu no mês de maio de 2020, na biblioteca virtual de saúde, LILACS, MEDLINE e BDENF voltado para avaliação de profundos significados e símbolos vivenciados por pessoas que passam pelo processo desse estudo. Conclusão: Constatou-se pelo trabalho que o profissional de enfermagem é, em alguns casos, mal preparado, mal assistido ou carece de suporte para realização de uma melhor assistência ao familiar e seu cliente. É imprescindível que pacientes e familiares passem por esse momento juntos se ajudem mutuamente, para que ambos se preparem melhor para o momento do óbito.
