Development of computational routine with genetic algorithms to optimize the cost of water consumption through water-saving devices analysis

Resumo: | The rational consumption of residential water is one of the main issues to be addressed in today since it represents an important part of the consumption of water resources in our society. Aware of this, an algorithm was developed to aid in the optimization of the use of hydraulic devices in residential environments, testing this proposal in a generic residential environment. In order to reach this objective, market surveys and technical reference were made to collect data from the hydraulic devices and later the genetic algorithm technique was used for optimization processing. As a result, we found a set of optimal scenarios for the use of the devices, ensuring greater water savings at the lowest cost. It was concluded that the work proposes an optimization routine that can have satisfactory applicability for decision making in the optimization of the use of residential hydraulic devices. |

Consciente de ello, se desarrolló un algoritmo para ayudar en la optimización del uso de dispositivos hidráulicos en entornos residenciales, probando esta propuesta en un entorno residencial genérico. Para alcanzar este objetivo se realizaron estudios de mercado y referencia técnica para la recolección de datos de los dispositivos hidráulicos y posteriormente se utilizó la técnica del algoritmo genético para el procesamiento de optimización. Como resultado, encontramos un conjunto de escenarios óptimos para el uso de los dispositivos, asegurando un mayor ahorro de agua al menor costo. Se concluyó que el trabajo propone una rutina de optimización que puede tener una aplicabilidad satisfactoria para la toma de decisiones en la optimización del uso de dispositivos hidráulicos residenciales.O consumo racional de água residencial é uma das principais questões ambientais na sociedade, visto que este representa um importante fatia do consumo de recursos hídricos. Assim, desenvolveu-se um algoritmo para auxílio na otimização do uso de dispositivos hidráulicos em ambientes residenciais, testando essa proposta em um ambiente residencial genérico. Para alcançar este objetivo, foram feitas pesquisas mercadológicas e de referência técnica para colher dados dos dispositivos hidráulicos e posteriormente utilizado a técnica de algoritmo genético para o processamento da otimização. Como resultado foi encontrado um conjunto de cenários ótimos para a utilização dos dispositivos, garantindo a maior economia de água com o menor custo.
