Perspectives of professional formation and insertion in the job market: a study in a Federal Public Institution of Minas Gerais

Resumo: | In the Brazilian context, Vocational and Technological Education (EFA) is historically marked by the duality between technical education, which prepares students for manual work and for the less favored segments, and scientific education, which includes quality and intellectual education. for a small fragment of society. However, it can be seen that over time there is an intense movement for an education based on the integral development of the individual that prepares him not only for professional insertion, but with human emancipation as a horizon. From this perspective, the objective of this study was to conduct a survey of the number of graduating students and graduates from 2012 to 2017 in the technical courses of Medium Level, Integrated mode, Environment, Electrical and Buildings, offered in a Federal Public institution of technological base. Based on the information obtained, it was found that the rate of graduating students, who only met the requirements for obtaining a high school diploma, ranged from 6% to 73%, and that of graduated students, who met the requirements. to obtain certification for immediate insertion in the labor market, ranged from 27% to 94%. The data obtained allow us to infer that the training provided by the institution not only includes the technical skills required by the market, but also enables the access to scientific knowledge and the development of behaviors that allow the choice for immediate entry into the labor market or the continuing education. |

Sin embargo, se puede ver que con el tiempo hay un movimiento intenso para una educación basada en el desarrollo integral del individuo que lo prepara no solo para la inserción profesional, sino con la emancipación humana como horizonte. Desde esta perspectiva, el objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una encuesta sobre el número de estudiantes graduados y graduados de 2012 a 2017 en los cursos técnicos de Nivel Medio, Modo Integrado, Medio Ambiente, Electricidad y Edificios, ofrecidos en una institución pública federal de base tecnológica. Con base en la información obtenida, se encontró que la tasa de estudiantes graduados, que solo cumplían con los requisitos para obtener un diploma de escuela secundaria, oscilaba entre 6% y 73%, y la de los estudiantes graduados, que cumplían con los requisitos. obtener la certificación para su inserción inmediata en el mercado laboral, varió del 27% al 94%. Los datos obtenidos nos permiten inferir que la capacitación brindada por la institución no solo incluye las habilidades técnicas requeridas por el mercado, sino que también permite el acceso al conocimiento científico y el desarrollo de comportamientos que permiten la elección para el ingreso inmediato al mercado laboral o Educación contínua.No âmbito brasileiro, a Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT) é historicamente marcada pela dualidade entre a formação técnica, que prepara o discente para o trabalho manual e para os segmentos menos favorecidos, e a formação científica, que compreende uma educação de qualidade e intelectual para um pequeno fragmento da sociedade. Todavia, percebe-se que no decorrer dos tempos há um intenso movimento em prol de uma educação baseada no desenvolvimento integral do indivíduo que o prepare não somente para a inserção profissional, mas, que tenha a emancipação humana como horizonte. Nessa perspectiva, o objetivo deste estudo consistiu em realizar um levantamento do quantitativo dos discentes concluintes e dos formados no período de 2012 a 2017 nos cursos Técnicos de Nível Médio, modalidade Integrada, em Meio Ambiente, Eletrotécnica e Edificações, ofertados em uma instituição Pública Federal de base tecnológica. Com base nas informações obtidas constatou-se que o índice de discentes concluintes, que cumpriram apenas com as exigências para a obtenção do diploma de nível médio, variou de 6% a 73%, e, o de discentes formados, que cumpriram com as exigências para obtenção de certificação para imediata inserção no mercado de trabalho, variou de 27% a 94%.
