A survey of the pharmaceutical services offered by the pharmacies and drugstores of the Municipality of Toledo, Paraná State, Brazil

Resumo: This study aimed to survey the pharmaceutical services provided by pharmacies and drugstores in the city of Toledo/PR and to analyze the quality of the services offered. A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in 64 pharmacies and drugstores of Toledo/PR, between June and July of 2017. All cases were published twice. At the first visit, through a questionnaire, the pharmacist answered of the services provided and about the conditions under the services are performed. During the second visit, it was verified which services the establishment was authorized to perform, as described in the sanitary license, the accomplishment of the service in the dispensation area and movement of people, the pharmacist presence and the provision of services not allowed. It was concluded that the vast majority of establishments provided pharmaceutical services to the population under acceptable conditions. However, in some cases, the pharmacist was not present to oversee the procedures, the service was performed in an inappropriate location, irregularly and / or did not provide the declaration of pharmaceutical services to the patient.

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal en 64 farmacias y droguerías de la ciudad de Toledo/PR, entre junio y julio de 2017. Todos los establecimientos fueron visitados dos veces. En la primera visita, a través de un cuestionario, el farmacéutico respondió sobre los servicios realizados en el establecimiento y las condiciones en las que se realizaban. En la segunda visita se verificaron los servicios que el establecimiento estaba autorizado a realizar, según lo descrito en la licencia sanitaria, si se realizó algún tipo de servicio en el área de dispensación y circulación de personas, si el farmacéutico estuvo presente y si el establecimiento brindó algún servicio no permitido. A través de los resultados encontrados, se concluyó que la gran mayoría de establecimientos brindaban servicios farmacéuticos a la población en condiciones aceptables. Sin embargo, en algunos casos, el farmacéutico no estuvo presente para supervisar los procedimientos, el servicio se realizó en un lugar inadecuado, de manera irregular y/o no brindó la declaración de servicios farmacéuticos al paciente.O presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar um levantamento dos serviços farmacêuticos prestados pelas farmácias e drogarias da sede do município de Toledo/PR e analisar a qualidade dos serviços ofertados. Foi realizado um estudo descritivo transversal em 64 farmácias e drogarias do município de Toledo/PR, no período entre junho e julho de 2017. Todos os estabelecimentos foram visitados duas vezes. Na primeira visita, através de um questionário, o farmacêutico respondeu sobre os serviços realizados no estabelecimento e sobre as condições em que os serviços foram realizados. Na segunda visita, foram verificados quais os serviços que o estabelecimento estava autorizado a realizar, conforme descrito na licença sanitária, se algum tipo de serviço era realizado na área de dispensação e circulação de pessoas, se o farmacêutico estava presente e se o estabelecimento prestava algum tipo de serviço não permitido. Através dos resultados encontrados, concluiu-se que a grande maioria dos estabelecimentos prestavam serviços farmacêuticos para a população em condições aceitáveis.
