Resumo: The Olympics and Paralympics are eagerly awaited by everyone. It is simply the biggest sporting event in the world, which brings together thousands of athletes from hundreds of different countries and have been hit hard by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Nobody thought that biological actions, SARS-CoV-2, could change the entire global sport scenario. Thus, the study proposed to discuss politics, biosafety and the holding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Despite the vaccination campaigns, the world is still under the COVID-19 pandemic. Tokyo is currently in a state of emergency. By the end of the games, what will leave the biggest mark, the larger access to vaccination from the rich countries, which should hold the largest number of medals, or the political interventions by institutions that have commercial interests in Tokyo 2020?

Es simplemente el evento deportivo más grande del mundo, que reúne a miles de atletas de cientos de países diferentes y fue completamente golpeado por la pandemia COVID-19. Nadie pensó que las acciones biológicas, SARS-CoV-2, podrían cambiar todo el panorama deportivo mundial. Así, el estudio propuso debatir sobre política, bioseguridad y la realización de los Juegos Olímpicos y Paralímpicos. A pesar de las campañas de vacunación, el mundo todavía no está libre de la pandemia de COVID-19. Tokio se encuentra actualmente en estado de emergencia. Al final de los Juegos, ¿qué será más impactante, mayor acceso a la vacunación por parte de los países ricos, que deberían tener la mayor cantidad de medallas, o intervenciones políticas de instituciones que tengan intereses comerciales en Tokio 2020?As Olimpíadas e as Paralimpíadas são bem esperados por todos. É simplesmente o maior evento esportivo do mundo, que reúne milhares de atletas de centenas de países diferentes e foi completamente atingido pela Pandemia da COVID-19. Ninguém contava que ações biológicas, SARS-CoV-2, poderiam modificar todo o cenário esportivo mundial. Dessa maneira, o estudo se propôs discutir sobre política, biossegurança e a realização dos Jogos Olímpicos e Paralímpicos. Apesar das campanhas de vacinação o mundo ainda não está livre da pandemia da COVID-19. Tóquio encontra-se em estado de emergência atualmente em vigor.
