Resumo: The purpose of this study is to describe the potentialities, frailties and suggestions in the nurses’ perceptions regarding the assistance delivered by a Rapid Response Team (RRT). This is an exploratory study with quanti-qualitative approach. The study was conducted with 22 nurses from public teaching hospital in the states of Paraná, Brazil. The results displayed the following potentialities: rapid care of RRT when requested in clinical and surgical care units for adult and improvement of health care assistance delivered to patients. As frailties, the participants mentioned lack of assistance during the night shifts, lack of communications between the RRT and the nurse in-charge of the ward, among others. Participants suggested an exclusive nurse to assist the team, periodical service meetings, among others. We hope the results of this study may contribute to build an innovative service by discussing the process of health care assistance delivered to a patient that becomes critic during hospitalization.

Research, Society and Development2022-06-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/3104510.33448/rsd-v11i8.31045Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 No. 8; e32211831045Research, Society and Development; Vol. 11 Núm. 8; e32211831045Research, Society and Development; v. 11 n. 8; e322118310452525-3409reponame:Research, Society and Developmentinstname:Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)instacron:UNIFEIporhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/article/view/31045/26559Copyright (c) 2022 Alexsandro Oliveira Dias; Izadora El Reda Feijó; Karen Barros Parron Fernandes ; Vivian Biazon El Reda Feijó; Rodrigo Antonio Carvalho Andraushttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessDias, Alexsandro OliveiraFeijó, Izadora El RedaFernandes , Karen Barros ParronFeijó, Vivian Biazon El Reda Andraus, Rodrigo Antonio Carvalho2022-07-01T13:34:06Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/31045Revistahttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/indexPUBhttps://rsdjournal.org/index.php/rsd/oairsd.articles@gmail.com2525-34092525-3409opendoar:2024-01-17T09:47:33.207545Research, Society and Development - Universidade Federal de Itajubá (UNIFEI)false
