A theoretical-practical view of the diffusion of innovation and Intellectual Property

Resumo: Innovation is recognized as a complex movement built from diverse dynamics. It needs to apply creativity and build new products, innovation also requires the understanding of many other socioeconomic, cultural and marketing factors involving technical-scientific training. Thus, the objective of this article is to characterize innovation in a theoretical-practical vision, triangulated with the issues of Intellectual Property and the University-Company relationship. Based on the qualitative research approach, the methodology adopted was exploratory descriptive, with the use of secondary data with the main references in the cited areas and scientific articles captured in the Scorpus platform. In addition, updated data was added in order to interweave theory and practice.  In the end, there was evidence of how innovation has ratified its socioeconomic role in contemporary society. As a result, the significant role of the government-university-market relationship - Triple Hélix - as a source of innovation stimulus, appeal to creativity and specific attention to Intellectual Property was verified.

A pesar de tener creatividad y construir nuevos productos, la innovación requiere la comprensión de muchos otros factores socioeconómicos, culturales y de comercialización que implican una formación técnica y científica. Así pues, el objetivo de este artículo es caracterizar la innovación en una visión teórico-práctica, triangulada con los temas de la Propiedad Intelectual y la relación Universidad-Empresa. Sobre la base del enfoque de investigación cualitativa, la metodología adoptada fue descriptiva exploratoria, con el uso de datos secundarios con las principales referencias en las áreas citadas y artículos científicos captados en la plataforma de Scorpus. Además, se añadieron datos actualizados para entrelazar la teoría y la práctica.  Al final, hubo pruebas de cómo la innovación ha ratificado su papel socioeconómico en la sociedad contemporánea. En consecuencia, se señaló el importante papel de la relación gobierno-universidad-mercado -Triple Hélix- como fuente de estímulo a la innovación, se hizo un llamamiento a la creatividad y se prestó especial atención a la propiedad intelectual.A inovação é reconhecida como um movimento complexo e construído a partir de diversas dinâmicas. Precisa aplicar a criatividade e construir novos produtos, a inovação requer também o entendimento de outros tantos fatores socioeconômicos, culturais e mercadológicos envolvendo a formação técnica-científica. Assim, o objetivo desse artigo é caracterizar a inovação numa visão teórico-prática, triangulado com as questões da Propriedade Intelectual e da relação Universidade-Empresa. A partir da abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa, a metodologia adotada foi descritiva exploratória, com uso de dados secundários com as principais referências nas áreas citadas e artigos científicos capturados na plataforma Scorpus. Somado a isso, foi adicionado dados atualizados, de modo a entrelaçar a teoria à prática.  Ao final, percebeu-se evidências do quão a inovação vem ratificando seu papel socioeconômico na sociedade contemporânea.
