Incidence of sexually transmitted infections in adolescents between 13 to 19 years old residents in the municipality of Cascavel between the years 2010 to 2020

Resumo: STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) have emerged as rising agents in the spread of sexually transmitted diseases among adolescents. Thus, this study aims to sample the number of adolescents aged between 13 and 19 years old residing in the city of Cascavel between 2010 and 2020 who presented, during the period under analysis, some sexually transmitted infection and sought treatment and medical advice at any health unit. For this, a descriptive quantitative methodology was used, analyzing the obtained data and presenting them in graphics in an explanatory and descriptive way. The survey pointed out as main results that 67.71% of patients who had some STI are male; 50% were white; of the young population between 10 and 19 years old who had a positive diagnosis for some STI, 96.34% was between 15 and 19 years old; 6% of the total population who had a positive diagnosis for some STI, was between 10 and 19 years old. By obtaining real data present in the population of adolescents in the city of Cascavel, government entities and their respective educational and health sectors will be able to work together, guided and substantiating subsidies that will structure and direct efficient actions for the control and extermination of STIs in the County.

Así, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo muestrear el número de adolescentes con edades entre 13 y 19 años residentes en la ciudad de Cascavel entre los años 2010 a 2020 que presentaron, durante el período bajo análisis, alguna infección de transmisión sexual y buscaron tratamiento y atención médica. orientación en una unidad de salud. Para ello se utilizó una metodología de carácter cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, analizando los datos obtenidos y presentándolos en gráficos de forma explicativa y descriptiva. La investigación apuntó como principales resultados que el 67,71% de los pacientes que presentaron una ITS son del sexo masculino; el 50% eran blancos; de la población joven entre 10 y 19 años que tuvo diagnóstico positivo por alguna ITS, el 96,34% tiene entre 15 y 19 años; Al obtener datos reales de la población de adolescentes de la ciudad de Cascavel, las entidades gubernamentales y sus respectivos sectores educativo y de salud podrán trabajar en conjunto, orientando y apoyando subsidios que estructurarán y encaminarán acciones eficientes para el control y exterminio de las ITS en el país Condado.As ISTs (Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis) têm se destacado como agentes em ascensão na disseminação de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis entre adolescentes. Assim, o presente estudo tem por objetivo realizar por amostragem o número de adolescentes com idade entre 13 a 19 anos residentes na cidade de Cascavel entre os anos de 2010 a 2020 que apresentaram, durante o período em análise, alguma infecção sexualmente transmissível e procuraram tratamento e orientação médica em alguma unidade de saúde. Para isto, foi empregada uma metodologia de cunho quantitativo, do tipo descritivo, analisando os dados obtidos e os apresentando em gráficos de forma explicativa e descritiva. A pesquisa apontou como principais resultados que 67,71% dos pacientes que apresentaram alguma IST é do gênero masculino; 50% se apresentaram de cor branca; da população jovem entre 10 e 19 anos que apresentaram diagnóstico positivo para alguma IST 96,34% tem idade entre 15 e 19 anos;6% da população total que apresentou diagnostico positivo para alguma IST, tem idade entre 10 e 19 anos.
