Prevention of COVID-19 in the 2020-2021 biennium: recommendations on hygiene habits established by the Ministry of Health

Resumo: The study aimed to discuss the hygiene habits recommended by the Ministry of Health after the COVID-19 pandemic that are considered important by the population. The methodology is a narrative review, with a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research question: what are the hygiene habits after the COVID-19 pandemic recommended by the Ministry of Health, which are considered important by the population, especially in respiratory disease? Articles were sought, using the following inclusion criteria: articles in Portuguese, in the time frame from 2017 to 2022, with reference to the Brazilian territory, that portrayed hygiene habits in the face of COVID-19, whose result showed 18 articles and 09 documents from the Ministry of Health, in which the thematic unit emerged: hygiene habits after the COVID-19 pandemic recommended by the Ministry of Health, especially in respiratory disease and the categories: 1: hygiene habits recommended by the Ministry of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic; 2: the context of hygiene habits used by the population during the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed for a robust and consistent discussion. It was concluded that hygiene habits after the COVID-19 pandemic, recommended by the Ministry of Health, are considered important, but government support is needed so that the entire population has access to drinking water, considering the need for more political initiatives, government agencies, allied to the support of civil society.

La metodología es una revisión narrativa, con enfoque cualitativo descriptivo, con la pregunta de investigación: ¿cuáles son los hábitos de higiene después de la pandemia de COVID-19 recomendados por el Ministerio de Salud, que son considerados importantes por la población, especialmente en enfermedades respiratorias? Se buscaron artículos, utilizando los siguientes criterios de inclusión: artículos en portugués, en el período de 2017 a 2022, con referencia al territorio brasileño, que retrataran hábitos de higiene frente al COVID-19, cuyo resultado mostró 18 artículos y 09 documentos del Ministerio de Salud, en el que surgió la unidad temática: hábitos de higiene post pandemia COVID-19 recomendados por el Ministerio de Salud, especialmente en enfermedades respiratorias y las categorías: 1: hábitos de higiene recomendados por el Ministerio de Salud durante la pandemia COVID- 19 pandemia; 2: el contexto de los hábitos de higiene utilizados por la población durante la pandemia de COVID-19, lo que permitió una discusión robusta y consistente. Se concluyó que los hábitos de higiene después de la pandemia del COVID-19, recomendados por el Ministerio de Salud, se consideran importantes, pero se necesita el apoyo del gobierno para que toda la población tenga acceso al agua potable, considerando la necesidad de más iniciativas políticas, instancias gubernamentales, aliado al apoyo de la sociedad civil.O estudo objetivou discutir os hábitos de higiene recomendados pelo Ministério da Saúde após a pandemia de COVID-19 que são considerados importantes pela população. A metodologia trata-se de uma revisão narrativa, com abordagem qualitativa descritiva, com a questão de pesquisa: quais os hábitos de higiene após a pandemia de COVID-19 recomendados pelo Ministério da Saúde, que são considerados importantes pela população, especialmente na doença respiratória? Buscou-se artigos, ao utilizar os seguintes critérios de inclusão: artigos em português, no recorte temporal de 2017 a 2022, tendo como referência o território brasileiro, que retratassem os hábitos de higiene frente à COVID-19, cujo resultado evidenciou 18 artigos e 09 documentos do Ministério da Saúde, em que emergiu a unidade temática: hábitos de higiene após a pandemia de COVID-19 recomendados pelo Ministério da Saúde, especialmente na doença respiratória e as categorias: 1: hábitos de higiene recomendados pelo Ministério da Saúde durante a pandemia da COVID-19; 2: o contexto dos hábitos de higiene utilizado pela população durante a pandemia da COVID-19, o que permitiu uma discussão robusta e consistente.
