Mapping the protection of softwares from the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education

Resumo: In the Digital Age, the discussion that permeates the legal mechanisms that guarantee the intellectual property protection for software has been gaining prominence in the academic and business community. In this sense, this work aims to analyze the situation of the protection for software of the institutions that compose the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education (RFEPCT) filed at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). This is a forecasting study, which was conducted in the database from INPI to gauging the requests of protection for software by institutions of RFEPCT in the period from 2009 to 2015. The results and discussions presented, was found that the institutions of RFEPCT maintain a growth trend in the number of protection for software in the INPI observed in the analyzed years, a fact that follows the national trend of protection for software also shows growth over the years.

En ese sentido, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la situación de protección de los programas informáticos de las instituciones que conforman la Red Federal de Educación Profesional, Científica y Tecnológica (RFEPCT) depositados en el Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial (INPI). Este es un estudio prospectivo realizado en la base de datos del INPI para evaluar las solicitudes de protección de los programas informáticos de las instituciones de la RFEPCT en el período de 2009 a 2015. Los resultados y discusiones presentados muestran que las instituciones de la RFEPCT mantienen una tendencia de crecimiento en el número de solicitudes de protección de los programas informáticos en el INPI observado en el período analizado, un hecho que acompaña la tendencia nacional de protección de programas informáticos que también ha crecido a lo largo de los años.Na Era Digital, a discussão que permeia os mecanismos jurídicos que garantem a propriedade intelectual dos programas de computador vem ganhando destaque no meio acadêmico e empresarial. Neste sentido, este artigo pretende analisar a conjuntura da proteção dos programas de computador das instituições que compõem a Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica (RFEPCT) depositados no Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI). Trata-se de um estudo prospectivo, o qual foi realizado na base de dados do INPI para aferir os pedidos de registros de programas de computador pelas instituições da RFEPCT no período de 2009 a 2015.
