This dossier “Education and Social Vulnerability” by Revista Olhares brings articles that address theoretical-methodological issues and research results on educational processes and teacher training practices based on the discussion on Education and its relationship with vulnerability and social risk. There are productions on art and emancipation, trajectories of young people at school, vulnerability and education of young people and adults, studies on social vulnerability and third sector projects, teachers' activities and experiences of workshops with young people in situations of social vulnerability. The works have representations from different regions and Brazilian states such as Pará, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, Maranhão, Amapá, which demonstrates how much research institutions and universities, throughout Brazil, have a good understanding of the relevance of this research theme to understand the situations experienced and the horizons of changes that need to be envisioned.
