Resumo: Faz parte do cotidiano dos professores de Língua Portuguesa ocupar a posição de instigadores de produções textuais, estimulando a imaginação e a criticidade de seus/suas alunos/as. Neste cenário, este estudo tem por objetivo refletir se os registros estão sendo feitos e, caso estejam, por qual motivo são tão pouco divulgados. Diante disso, optou-se como percurso metodológico pela pesquisa qualitativa com aporte na produção de narrativas autobiográficas, conforme menciona Schütze (1983). Os participantes do estudo são professores de Língua Portuguesa que possuem formação na área e atuam em escolas de educação básica. Os resultados apontaram que os registros das práticas ocorrem mais por uma questão burocrática - com registro nos cadernos de presença - do que movidos por questões que possam aprimorar e qualificar a prática docente.

In this scenario, the study aims to reflect if these records are being made and, if so, why they are so little disclosed. Given this, the methodological route chosen was of the qualitative research, based on the production of autobiographical narratives, as mentioned by Schütze (1983). The participants of this study are Portuguese Language teachers graduated in the area and work in schools of basic education.
