GENDER ISSUES IN THE LITERARY AND IMAGERY OF LAVAGEM, BY SHIKO

Resumo: Contemporary society communicates through multimodal texts, which have become increasingly common. Examples of multimodal texts are websites, infographics, advertisements, comics and films. The purpose of this article is to analyze the Brazilian comic Lavagem, conceived by the author Shiko, indicating it as a possible didactic contribution to a multi-learning pedagogy. The story features the couple Esposa and Omar, who live in a precarious mangrove swamp. It is possible to see that Esposa, a female character, is a victim of gender violence. In this way, the comic book enabled discussions about women to take place in the classroom, especially with regard to the issues of women's submission and subservience to men, the social construction of the female gender and the brutality of patriarchy. Not only that, but the work brings together the literary and imaginary arts, enabling diverse readings. Knowing how to establish relationships between different types of text is an example of multilearning. Thus, with the intention of training students to be both multilearners and aware of their role, in this specific case, anti-machists, among the various perspectives that the narrative in its verbs and traits makes possible, an analytical investigation of women's issues in Lavagem was carried out, at the same time as indicating a pedagogical reading sequence for a multilearnings pedagogy.

Ejemplos de textos multimodales son páginas web, infografías, anuncios, cómics y películas. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el cómic brasileño Lavagem, creado por el autor Shiko, señalándolo como una posible contribución didáctica a una pedagogía multilingüe. La historia presenta a la pareja Esposa y Omar, que viven en un manglar precario. Se puede ver que Esposa, un personaje femenino, es víctima de la violencia de género. De este modo, el cómic favorece los debates sobre la mujer en el aula, especialmente en lo que se refiere a las cuestiones de la sumisión y el servilismo de la mujer al hombre, la construcción social del género femenino y la brutalidad del patriarcado. No sólo eso, sino que la obra aúna las artes literaria e imagística, lo que hace posible leerla de diversas maneras. Saber establecer relaciones entre distintos tipos de texto es un ejemplo de multiaprendizaje. Así, con la intención de formar alumnos multiaprendices y conscientes de su papel, en este caso concreto, antimachista, entre las diversas perspectivas que la narrativa en sus verbos y rasgos posibilita, se realizó una investigación analítica de la problemática de la mujer en Lavagem, al mismo tiempo que se indicó una secuencia de lectura pedagógica para una pedagogía multiaprendizaje.A sociedade contemporânea se comunica por meio de textos multimodais, que têm se tornado cada vez mais comuns. Exemplos de textos multimodais são os sites, os infográficos, as propagandas, as histórias em quadrinhos e os filmes. A proposta do presente artigo é analisar a história em quadrinhos brasileira Lavagem, idealizada pelo autor Shiko, indicando-a como possível aporte didático para uma pedagogia dos multiletramentos. A referida ficção apresenta o casal Esposa e Omar, que vivem em um precário manguezal. É possível perceber que a Esposa, personagem feminina, é vítima de violência de gênero. Dessa forma, a HQ propiciou que discussões acerca do ser feminino aconteçam em sala de aula, especialmente no que diz respeito as questões da submissão e subserviência de mulheres em relação aos homens, a construção social do gênero feminino e a brutalidade do patriarcado. Não somente isso, a obra une as artes literária e imagética, possibilitando leituras diversas. Saber estabelecer relações entre diferentes tipos de texto é uma amostra de multiletramento.
