Resumo: The Center of the Americas francophonie (CFA) is an organization established in 2008, whose main objective is to increase the access, the participation and the visibility of the Americas francophonie. In this interview by Oscar Augusto Berg, Denis Desgagnés, CFA Chief Executive Officer since 2011 outlines the Center’s path, programs and aspirations and draws a portrait of the current state and the challenges of the francophonie in Quebec, within the Canadian minority communities and in the Americas. Intervening in the fields of culture, economics, education, communication and research, CFA stimulates interchange, the creation of lasting ties and the execution of actions gathering francophones of all the Americas. We’re currently experiencing the emergence of an inclusive, supportive and moving Americas francophonie, of which Denis Desgagnés delivers a passionate plea.
