This article proposes a reflection on the importance of caring to be announced psychological diagnosis of a child's parents and the school. Methodologically, we present a case study, structured from the psychoanalytic research assumptions. We conclude that a diagnosis can become a stigma, instead of providing a required intervention for the child's development. Pedagogical actions made by the teacher and work with a psychologist, as well as the correct diagnostic approach, were central to the child's development.
