Access to justice and the dignity of the human person: brief notes on the activities of popular legal counsel in the emancipation of the individual

Resumo: Brazil is a country that, because it is peripheral, has many problems that need to be solved with a legal approach. At the present paper, it is intended to carry out a critical analysis the issue of access to justice as a component of the theory of the existential minimum standard, following the line proposed by Ana Paula de Barcellos. Within access to justice, the role of popular legal services as instruments for the promotion of fundamental rights and access to justice will be analyzed.
