Resumo: | In this article are discussed the thematic and formal features present in the comics of the period known as the Golden Age, as well as aesthetic ruptures arising as a result of the Comic Code Authority that led to the development of a new style known as the Silver Age. It deals with the conventions established by the first wave of authors linked to the National Comics and its later development by a second wave in the appearance of Marvel Comics around Stan Lee and the importance of Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko in this production. |
