Resumo: This article aims to analyze in the light of Castoriadis (1982, 1999) how one constructs the imaginary in the film Room. For that, a notion of subject, autonomy and heteronomy, the imaginary of the being and the social imaginary are approached. The social imaginary can be recreated according to a social structure in which the subject is inserted. It is related to autonomy insofar as the subject accepts being trapped in social networks or seeks to resist them by recreating their history. From the analysis of the film it is understood that autonomy is not related to physical freedom, but to psychic freedom.

Universidade LaSalle - Unilasalle Canoas2020-04-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/Dialogo/article/view/566810.18316/dialogo.v0i43.5668Diálogo; n. 43 (2020); p. 119-1312238-9024reponame:Revista Diálogoinstname:Universidade La Salle (UNILASALLE)instacron:UNILASALLEporhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/Dialogo/article/view/5668/pdfCopyright (c) 2020 Diálogoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCarmo, Luana Jéssica OliveiraTeixeira, Marcella Barbosa MirandaCampos, Rita de Cássia LealAssis, Lilian Bambirra de2022-12-28T20:58:47Zoai:ojs.revistas.unilasalle.edu.br:article/5668Revistahttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/DialogoONGhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/Dialogo/oairevistas@unilasalle.edu.br||dialogo@unilasalle.edu.br2238-90241519-3640opendoar:2022-12-28T20:58:47Revista Diálogo - Universidade La Salle (UNILASALLE)false
