Resumo: | Introduction: Marital infidelity is a complex and subjective phenomenon, associated with multifactorial causality. For this, there is no consensus as to its definition, which can be represented as breaking any commitment to monogamy, which engages in sexual, affective and emotional extra-relational behaviors and their impacts on the dynamics of the couple leave indelible marks, which are compared, by some authors, as a deadly wound. Objective: To review the literature on infidelity in the dynamics of the marital relationship.Method: Review the literature on articles searched in PubMed, SciELO, LILACS and PePSIC databases, from 2007 to 2017, using the terms “Infidelidade, Infidelity, Infidelidad or/ou/o Traição, Betrayal, Traición”.Results and conclusions: There are five recurrent themes in the 22 filtered articles: explanatory-comprehensive; infidelity and risk behavior for HIV / AIDS virus contamination; infidelity and domestic violence against women; review of national literature on the subject; and intervention in the context of couples with a history of marriage infidelity. From the analysis carried out, it is observed that infidelity does not end in itself, and to understand it, an investigation is necessary that is not only focused on the intrapsychic factors, or on sociocultural factors. |

Universidade LaSalle - Unilasalle Canoasda Costa, Maressa AndradeFlores, Patrícia de Oliveirade Farias, Rodrigo SerrãoBezerra, Stiffanny Alexa SaraivaBorba, Camila de SouzaHayasida, Nazaré Maria de Albuquerque2018-03-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/view/407410.18316/sdh.v6i1.4074Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano; v. 6, n. 1 (2018); 57-65Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano; v. 6, n. 1 (2018); 57-652317-8582reponame:Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humanoinstname:Universidade La Salle (UNILASALLE)instacron:UNILASALLEporhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/view/4074/pdfhttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/downloadSuppFile/4074/763https://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/article/downloadSuppFile/4074/764Direitos autorais 2018 Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humanoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2022-04-06T14:37:12Zoai:ojs.revistas.unilasalle.edu.br:article/4074Revistahttp://www.revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimentohttps://revistas.unilasalle.edu.br/index.php/saude_desenvolvimento/oaisdh@unilasalle.edu.br2317-85822317-8582opendoar:2022-04-06T14:37:12Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano - Universidade La Salle (UNILASALLE)false |
