Resumo: Several studies point out that the Chemistry presential courses are focused on Technical Rationality. They stress that the courses should be ground on Practical Rationality. It is intended, the test presented here, to study the proposal EAD in Chemistry of UFRN and determine which of these situations in the course fits. For this purpose, we compared the degree EAD in Chemical of UFRN with a degree in Chemical presential from UFAL, taking as reference in the study the experimental classes developed in 2010 in both courses. The survey was done from two points: 1 - reading and analyzing the political-pedagogical projects of both courses; 2 - follow-up experimental classes targeted by the course tutor UFRN and teachers at the graduate UFAL. The results show that EAD in Chemistry of UFRN is linked to Technical Rationality, at least with respect to experiments in chemistry.

Nos mesmos se apontam que os cursos deveriam se alicerçar na Racionalidade Prática. Pretende-se, no ensaio ora apresentado, estudar a proposta da Licenciatura em Química EAD da UFRN e verificar em qual dessas situações o curso se enquadra. Para tanto, comparou-se a Licenciatura em Química EAD da UFRN com a Licenciatura em Química presencial da UFAL, tomando como referência no estudo as aulas experimentais desenvolvidas em 2010 em ambos os cursos. O levantamento foi feito a partir de dois pontos: 1 – leitura e análise dos projetos político-pedagógicos de ambos os cursos; 2 - acompanhamento das aulas experimentais orientadas pelo tutor no curso da UFRN e pelos docentes na licenciatura da UFAL.
