Resumo: | The research has as its object of study two squares located in the urban space of the city of Rondonópolis-MT. Of the main characteristics of the research, a square that is a project of the Rondonópolis City Hall, located in an important neighborhood, which is Vila Operária. The other square is an investment by a real estate company, that is, it belongs to private capital, where it has an excellent structure and daily maintenance. Among the aspects, it was sought with the research, to make a comparison of the two squares, with respect to the function performed as well as possible dysfunctions of its use, for that, it was raised information of the existing infrastructure in these spaces as well as their problems, either them in the infrastructure aspect, security, informal trade. In this way, through fieldwork, using the informal interview procedure, it was possible to understand which factors attract or repel users of these spaces. Also through the photographic record, we identified the use of public space by the private sector. |

Una de las principales características de la investigación es una plaza que es un proyecto del Municipio de Rondonópolis, ubicada en un barrio importante, que es Vila Operária. La otra plaza es una inversión de una inmobiliaria, es decir es de capital privado, donde cuenta con una excelente estructura y mantenimiento al día. Entre los aspectos, la investigación buscó realizar una comparación de las dos plazas, en cuanto a la función que cumplen así como posibles disfunciones de su uso, para ello se recopiló información sobre la infraestructura existente en estos espacios, así como su problemática, ya sea ellos en el aspecto de infraestructura, seguridad, comercio informal. Así, a través del trabajo de campo, utilizando el procedimiento de entrevista informal, fue posible comprender qué factores atraen o repelen a los usuarios de estos espacios. También a través del registro fotográfico identificamos el uso del espacio público por parte del sector privado. Palabras clave: Plaza. Ocupación. Lugar público. Rondonópolis-MT.RÉSUMÉ: La recherche a pour objet d'étude deux places situées dans l'espace urbain de la ville de Rondonópolis-MT. L'une des principales caractéristiques de la recherche est une place qui est un projet de la municipalité de Rondonópolis, située dans un quartier important, qui est Vila Operária. L'autre place est un investissement d'une société immobilière, c'est-à-dire qu'elle appartient à des capitaux privés, où elle a une excellente structure et un entretien quotidien. Parmi les aspects, la recherche a cherché à faire une comparaison des deux places, concernant la fonction remplie ainsi que les éventuels dysfonctionnements de leur utilisation, pour cela, des informations sur les infrastructures existantes dans ces espaces ont été collectées, ainsi que leurs problèmes, que ce soit sous l'aspect des infrastructures, de la sécurité, du commerce informel. Ainsi, grâce à un travail de terrain, en utilisant la procédure d'entretien informel, il a été possible de comprendre quels facteurs attirent ou repoussent les utilisateurs de ces espaces. Aussi à travers le dossier photographique, nous avons identifié l'utilisation de l'espace public par le secteur privé.Mots clés : Carré. Profession. Lieu public. Rondonopolis-MT.A pesquisa tem como objeto de estudo duas praças localizadas no espaço urbano da cidade de Rondonópolis-MT. Das características principais da pesquisa, uma praça que é projeto da Prefeitura Municipal de Rondonópolis, localizada num importante bairro, que é a Vila Operária. A outra praça, é um investimento de uma imobiliária, ou seja, é do capital privado, onde está apresenta uma excelente estrutura e manutenção diária. Dentre os aspectos, buscou-se com a pesquisa, fazer um comparativo das duas praças, com relação a função desempenhada bem como possíveis disfunções de seu uso, para isso, levantou-se informações da infraestrutura existente nesses espaços como também os seus problemas, seja eles no aspecto da infraestrutura, segurança, comércio informal. Desse modo, através do trabalho de campo, utilizando o procedimento de entrevista informal, foi possível compreender quais os fatores que atraem ou repelem os usuários desses espaços.
