Resumo: | This article analyzes the 2013 manifestations of June from the approach of Political Science to understand them as a result of the inability of the formal political institutions, especially those linked to political representation, to process social demands in a satisfactory way. It is considered that the process of social representation is a continuum, so the manifestations of June can be understood as a result of a certain discontinuity of the representation process and makes way for forms of organization and political participation, until then, innovative, decentralized and fluid. Therefore, the Free Pass Movement (MPL), the Black Blocks and Anonymous reached prominence. It’s been concluded that the researched protests promoted a certain "awareness" of the right to demonstrate and brought visibility to popular demands such as improving the quality of life in cities and the quality of the system and political representation. These demands are a consequence of access to education and the internet, which reduced the costs of political mobilization and enabled new forms of participation. |

These demands are a consequence of access to education and the internet, which reduced the costs of political mobilization and enabled new forms of participation. Editora Unimontes2022-12-15info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://www.periodicos.unimontes.br/index.php/alteridade/article/view/609510.46551/alt0401202208Alteridade Magazine; Vol. 4 No. 1 (2022): Revista Alteridade; 164-175Revista Alteridade; Vol. 4 Núm. 1 (2022): Revista Alteridade; 164-175Magazine Alteridade; Vol. 4 No 1 (2022): Revista Alteridade; 164-175Revista Alteridade; v. 4 n. 1 (2022): Revista Alteridade; 164-1752526-37492237-9479reponame:Revista Alteridade (Online)instname:Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros (UNIMONTES)instacron:UNIMONTESporhttps://www.periodicos.unimontes.br/index.php/alteridade/article/view/6095/6104Copyright (c) 2022 Revista Alteridadehttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFonseca, Joni OliveiraMachado, João Lucas Mendes2022-12-19T21:18:17Zoai:ojs2.periodicos.unimontes.br:article/6095Revistahttps://www.periodicos.unimontes.br/index.php/alteridadePUBhttps://www.periodicos.unimontes.br/index.php/alteridade/oairevista.alteridade@unimontes.br || portal.periodicos@unimontes.br2526-37492237-9479opendoar:2022-12-19T21:18:17Revista Alteridade (Online) - Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros (UNIMONTES)false |
