Resumo: This article deals with the historical context in which the process of implantation and expansion of the Pentecostal Movements, before and after the Protestant Reformation, took place. Thus, the main objective of this study was to understand how different religious segments dispersed across centuries and continents. For this, we focus a look at its theological bases and respective missionaries, in order to reconstruct a picture of its trajectory through the centuries and continents. Through a bibliographical review and historical documents, it was possible to understand not only the historical context, but also the ideological matrices, its strands and its main characters, represented in the figure of some of its disciples and followers. Furthermore, it was also possible to identify the dynamics of its transformations and its doctrinal principles, in their theological and ecclesiological perspectives. Thus, it can be concluded that the vitality of the dogmatic genitures of the Pentecostal segments were lodged in the structure of some social groups. These, welcomed them and gave it specific characteristics, over centuries and continents, and which still continues to attract millions of people in various parts of the world.

Por lo tanto, el principal objetivo de este estudio fue comprender cómo los diferentes segmentos religiosos se dispersaron a lo largo de siglos y continentes. Para ello, enfocamos una mirada a sus bases teológicas y respectivos misioneros, con el fin de reconstruir un cuadro de su trayectoria a través de los siglos y continentes. A través de una revisión bibliográfica y documentos históricos, se logró comprender no solo el contexto histórico, sino también las matrices ideológicas, sus vertientes y sus protagonistas, representados en la figura de algunos de sus discípulos y seguidores. Además, también fue posible identificar la dinámica de sus transformaciones y sus principios doctrinales, en sus perspectivas teológica y eclesiológica. Así, se puede concluir que la vitalidad de las genituras dogmáticas de los segmentos pentecostales se alojó en la estructura de algunos grupos sociales. Estos, los acogieron y le dieron características específicas, a lo largo de siglos y continentes, y que aún sigue atrayendo a millones de personas en diversas partes del mundo.Este artigo trata do contexto histórico em que aconteceu o processo de implantação e expansão dos Movimentos Pentecostais, anteriores e posteriores à Reforma Protestante. Assim, o objetivo principal deste estudo foi o de compreender como os diferentes segmentos religiosos se dispersaram através dos séculos e dos continentes. Para isto, focalizamos um olhar sobre as suas bases teológicas e respectivos missionários, a fim de reconstruir um retrato da sua trajetória através dos séculos e dos continentes. Por intermédio de uma revisão bibliográfica e de documentos históricos foi possível compreender não apenas o contexto histórico, mas também as matrizes ideológicas, suas vertentes e seus principais personagens, representados na figura de alguns de seus discípulos e seguidores. Ademais, foi possível identificar também a dinâmica de suas transformações e seus princípios doutrinários, em suas perspectivas teológicas e eclesiológicas. Desta forma, pode-se concluir que a vitalidade das genituras dogmáticas dos segmentos pentecostais, se alojaram na estrutura de alguns grupos sociais.
