A geographical approach to transport and exports of goods in the State of Minas Gerais

Resumo: From the perspective of the Geography of International Trade, the economic and spatial dynamics of businesses aimed at exporting goods in the State of Minas Gerais and its distribution network in global markets were investigated. The objective of this article is to analyze the performance of transport networks in the interconnections and interconnections of exports of goods produced in Minas Gerais (Brazil) with international markets, from 1997 to 2017. The methodological procedures were structured in the literature review, in the collection, in the handling and tabulation of data made available by public institutions, which contributed to the elaboration of cartographic materials. In Minas Gerais, the bases of exports were constituted by basic, semi-manufactured and manufactured products, which are sold by means of national transport from the place of production to the customs areas. From them, connections with international transport modes occur, which distribute exported products in global markets.

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el desempeño de las redes de transporte en las interconexiones e interconexiones de las exportaciones de bienes producidos en Minas Gerais (Brasil) con los mercados internacionales, de 1997 a 2017. Los procedimientos metodológicos se estructuraron en la revisión de literatura, en el recolección, en el manejo y tabulación de los datos puestos a disposición por las instituciones públicas, que contribuyeron a la elaboración de materiales cartográficos. En Minas Gerais, las bases de las exportaciones estaban constituidas por productos básicos, semimanufacturados y manufacturados, que son vendidos por medio de transporte nacional desde el lugar de producción hasta los recintos aduaneros. A partir de ellos se producen conexiones con modos de transporte internacional, que distribuyen los productos exportados en los mercados globales.Na perspectiva da Geografia do Comércio Internacional, investigou-se a dinâmica econômica e espacial dos negócios voltados para as exportações de mercadorias no estado de Minas Gerais e a sua rede de distribuição nos mercados globais. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a performance das redes de transportes nas interconexões e interligações das exportações de mercadorias produzidas em Minas Gerais (Brasil) com os mercados internacionais, no período de 1997 a 2017. Os procedimentos metodológicos foram estruturados na revisão de literatura, na coleta, no manuseio e na tabulação dos dados disponibilizados por instituições públicas, que contribuíram na elaboração de materiais cartográficos. Em Minas Gerais, as bases das exportações foram constituídas por produtos básicos, semimanufaturados e manufaturados, que são escoados por meio de transporte nacional do local de produção aos recintos alfandegados.
