Storage capacity of agricultural products in warehouses in the municipalities of the northern region of Minas Gerais

Resumo: Storage is one of the most important processes that make up the production chain, logistics and agribusiness. In the latter, the storage process makes it possible to increase grain production, distribution and market stability. Given the importance of agricultural storage for agribusiness, this study aims to analyze the static storage capacity of agricultural products in warehouses in the municipalities of the northern Minas region in 2015 and 2020. Through a descriptive research, with quantitative approach, it was possible to carry out the data collection. To carry out the analysis, the data were obtained through the National Registry of Storage Units System of the National Supply Company (SICARM/Conab). Through the analyzes carried out, it was possible to infer that the municipalities of Montes Claros/MG and Buritizeiro/MG have higher percentages of conventional type warehouses in the analyzed periods. As for bulk type warehouses, the municipalities of Buritzeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG and Pirapora/MG had the highest percentages. The municipalities with the highest percentage of grain storage capacity in conventional warehouses are Montes Claros/MG and Buritizeiro/MG. With regard to bulk warehouses, the municipalities with the highest storage capacities were Buritizeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG and Pirapora/MG.

En este último, el proceso de almacenamiento permite incrementar la producción, distribución y estabilidad del mercado de granos. Dada la importancia del almacenamiento agrícola para la agroindustria, este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la capacidad de almacenamiento estático de productos agrícolas en depósitos de los municipios de la región norte de Minas en 2015 y 2020. A través de una investigación descriptiva, con enfoque cuantitativo, fue posible llevar a cabo a cabo la recopilación de datos. Para realizar el análisis, los datos se obtuvieron a través del Sistema de Registro Nacional de Unidades de Almacenamiento de la Empresa Nacional de Abastecimiento (SICARM/Conab). A través de los análisis realizados, se pudo inferir que los municipios de Montes Claros/MG y Buritizeiro/MG tienen mayores porcentajes de almacenes de tipo convencional en los períodos analizados. En cuanto a los almacenes tipo granel, los municipios de Buritzeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG y Pirapora/MG tuvieron los porcentajes más altos. Los municipios con mayor porcentaje de capacidad de almacenamiento de granos en almacenes convencionales son Montes Claros/MG y Buritizeiro/MG. En cuanto a los depósitos a granel, los municipios con mayor capacidad de almacenamiento fueron Buritizeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG y Pirapora/MG.A armazenagem é um dos processos mais importantes quem compõem a cadeia produtiva, a logística e o agronegócio. Neste último, o processo de armazenagem torna possível o aumento da produção de grãos, a distribuição e a estabilidade no mercado. Tendo em vista a importância da armazenagem agrícola para o agronegócio, o presente estudo têm como objetivo geral analisar a capacidade estática de armazenagem de produtos agrícolas em armazéns dos municípios da mesorregião Norte de Minas nos anos 2015 e 2020. Através de uma pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa foi possível realizar o levantamento dos dados. Para a realização das análises os dados foram obtidos através do Sistema da Cadastro Nacional de Unidades Armazenadoras da Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (SICARM/Conab). Através das análises realizadas foi possível inferir que os municípios de Montes Claros/MG e Buritizeiro/MG possuem maiores percentuais de armazéns do tipo convencional nos períodos analisados. Quanto aos armazéns do tipo graneleiro, os municípios de Buritzeiro/MG, Chapada Gaúcha/MG e Pirapora/MG apresentaram os maiores percentuais. Os municípios que possuem maior percentual de capacidade de armazenagem de grãos em armazéns convencionais são Montes Claros/MG e Buritizeiro/MG.
