Basics concepts of Geology and Geomorfology in the context of the physiographics features of Montes Claros and North of Minas Gerais

Resumo: The teaching of the concepts of geology and geomorphology in education is of great importance for the understanding of spatial processes, but the basics related to these sciences are more complex, requiring a major concern of teachers with the content of Physical Geography. And one of the most pressing concerns of educators regarding the need to teach physical geography in a context that considers the students’ reality. From this perspective the students have more interest in this area and learn the content in a way that feels like part of the process of teaching and learning. Thus, it is necessary that research within this proposal are to be valued in order to create the largest possible number of data and information that can be used in schools. Accordingly, this article sought to make some considerations about the basics of geology and geomorphology in an attempt to provide a theoretical basis that can help teachers do Norte de Minas to teach physical geography from the reality of the region.

E uma das preocupações mais prementes dos educadores diz respeito à necessidade de se ensinar a Geografia Física dentro de um contexto que consideraa realidade dos alunos. Nessa perspectiva os educandos têm um interesse maior na matéria e aprendem o conteúdo de uma maneira em que se sentem como parte do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Assim, faz-se necessário que as pesquisas que estejam dentro desta proposta sejam valorizadas no sentido de se criar o maior número possível de dados e informações que possam ser usados nas escolas. Nesse sentido, procurou-se neste artigo fazer algumas considerações acerca dos conceitos básicos da Geologia e da Geomorfologia na tentativa de disponibilizar uma base teórica que possa ajudar os professores do Norte de Minas a ensinarem a Geografia Física a partir da realidade da região.
