The topography of the earth’s surface, study of Geomorphology, significant influence in the daily human, since their shapes, patterns and slope interfere decisively in human constructions such as roads, hydro, in crop rotation, in order, all human activity is directly or indirectly influenced by topography. Therefore, this study sought to understand and map the configuration of relief in the municipality of Montes Claros, through the application of geotecnology products and orbital in order to promote, through cartographic documents, the record of the aspects morfocronológicos, morphodynamic and morphometric regarding Geomorphology montesclarense. These goals are justified because the geomorphological variables selected provide keyinformation for the interpretation of geomorphological phenomena in the municipality of Montes Claros, thus contributing to the analysis of land from the municipality of reliable survey data georeferenced. To achieve this mapping was used methodologies enshrined in national and international framework, such as the methodology of Libout (1971), Ross (1992) and Ross (1994) these methods allowed and facilitated the implementation of the work exactly as they are flexible and allow the adequacy of local realities to his model of interpretation. The geomorphological map of the city of Montes Claros explained the lack of studies on the regional landscape and the high degree of generalization of the work directed to the council in focus, within the logicof this study, focused on defining the components of the relief and the lifting of data on aspects morfocronológicos, morphodynamic and morphometric, achieves singular importance with regard to the pioneering studies of semi-detailed geomorphological this city.
